Penn Station East Coast Subs

I had a horrible experience at this location. I placed a pickup order almost an hour ahead of time scheduled for 12. I arrived at 12:10 and they told me they hadn’t even started it yet because they had “other orders at the same time”. The staff was nice and apologetic, and it was a bit hectic as they had to call the cops on an individual who was outside, but my order should have been completed by 12 regardless. They didn’t even call the cops until after I had arrived, meaning it should not have impacted my sandwiches. What is the point of scheduling a pick up if it doesn’t even matter? Also - shouldn’t sub shops be able to handle multiple orders? I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my sandwiches. Very disappointing.

This was our first visit. My daughter loves subs and wanted to eat at Penn Station for her birthday. The food was excellent, and the staff was very patient with us fumbling through our order. Most of us got small subs, fries, and a drink, and it was more than enough to get full. (My husband got a large and couldn't finish it.). I would definitely recommend this place if you like subs!

Love this place!
It's always consistent with the quality of the food. I get a Cheese steak with everything, fries, cookie and lemonade.
My only complaint is they took away the sliced lemons during COVID... It's now 2025 so I think you can bring those back guys!
The cookie is always delicious and the lemonade seems to be great no matter which location you try.
I've never had anything other than the Cheese steak with everything because it's so good I don't ever want to try anything else on the menu. I recommend this place if you want something that is beyond the typical burger joint! 👍

I had the best customer service experience I’ve ever had at Penn Station and one of the best I’ve had anywhere in a very long time. I got there 20 mins before close, Dawn was the only person working. She was so nice, fast, and efficient. This is the only Penn Station I will go to in the future. Dawn deserves all of the business!

I come here often, she greeted me and I knew when she did , it was out of suspicion but I greater her back politely and continued walking. My three year old boy had to use the bathroom really bad. She then stopped me and yelled across the restaurant if I was ordering something or picking up and I said no. Then she said yea then you need to leave. I said I’m sorry ma’am my son really needs to go potty (everyone knows when a toddler needs to pee he needs to go) she said “I just cleaned it I’m sorry I can’t help you” WHAT ? I own a business myself and would never do something like that. I will never be coming back. How horrible of customer service can one have. No human hospitality?

This was my first time ever to penn station and soon as I walked in the employees acknowledged me. I got the Italian sub and a bag of chips. Once I paid the worked suggested I should try the sub hot so I took his advice and while waiting everyone was so nice and talking to me. I got home and tried my sub and it had so much flavor and was so good. I’m glad I took the advice and decided to try penn station, definitely will be going back for food and the respectful employees. The food actually fills you and doesn’t make you feel bad. The regular size subs are good size for one person.

Older lady at counter claimed they didn’t receive my order even after I showed her on my phone my mobile order for this location. She still didn’t make my food even after I paid nor could I get my refund clearly their system was down or something was wrong. She was completely rude took my phone out of my hand which was unnecessary! Most places would have made the moment right. I had proof of purchase I don’t know what’s more you expect from me as a customer! I just got off work trying to pick up my dinner for me and my family and to be told I can’t get my food after I already paid is ridiculous especially seeing that my order was $30!

Hard to beat the quality and flavor of Penn Station! The staff here has lots of personality too. I recommend the chicken parmesan or the cheesesteak!

Weird place. Never again. Asked for it cooked twice seemed like I was asking for too much. Asked for a side of mayo weird additude . 3 peice of bacon shoulda just went to subway woulda been cheaper. Lmao I’ll go to the one on whipple.
