Came out here from New Jersey for the Hall of Fame event. Stopped here for a gyro platter being a big fan of gyros back home. This one was the best lamb, rice and platter I’ve ever had. Just a completely different experience. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

I thought by moving to Belden Village food court it may lose a bit of its mystique and appeal, but the food is still flavorful and the charismatic lady who serves up this delicious food is always smiling as she greets her customers

This is by far one of the best middle eastern restaurants around this area. Lailas home cooked touch makes every bite delicious. Reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. Also, their Smoothies are top notch, especially the green one!! This is a must stop and eat at place!

This review is not a review of the food quality. It is a review of their customer service and poor communication via social media sites like their Facebook page and direct call in number.Last Sunday on August 14th, 2022, we called ahead to make sure they were open on Sunday. There person answering the phone informed us they would be open until 6:00 pm. We called in a pick up order around 4 pm and no one answered the telephone. We then drove to Belden Village directly to place a pick up order thinking that they were too busy to answer the phone. When we arrive, the Belden Village food court and area was very busy but the Sahara Grille was closed at 4:30 pm. Everything was dark with all other food places open. Not sure what went wrong but the least the owners of this place should do is place a message on their answering machine and/or update their Google website hours. We were told on the phone that their Facebook page always had the most updated menu and hours. Even that was incorrect.

I have never had a bad meal here! Everything was fresh and tasty, plus best Baba ganoush around!

Neither J S nor Tamara could have been there within the last 2 weeks. This place closed about 2 months ago and is now a Mexican restaurant. Sahara was good back in the day. Sad to see them go. I figured I'd post so no one tries to go there.

Been going to Sahara Grille for years and I was so disappointed with the quality of our meal tonight. They have definitely gone drastically downhill since relocating. As other reviewers noted the rice is extremely bland, no almond slivers, pine nuts or seasoned meat in it. Potato wedges are now awful french fries (which... why would you want that from a middle eastern restaurant?). The hummus was so overpowered by lemon it was inedible. Kid's chicken meal was so overcooked I didn't want my child to eat it. Beyond the taste, the presentation was disgusting. Appetizer trio was just a takeout container slopped with hummus , kibbie and falafel thrown straight into the hummus along with plastic containers of tahini (I'm talking thrown directly into the pile of hummus). Worst part was the chicken tawook had a hair on top of it. Will not be back- I'd prefer Aladdin's any day.
BEST? VEGETARIAN?GRAPE? LEAVES.?EVER!!????????Smoothe, creamy, slight acidity. They were awesome for $7?!! C'Mon you're missing out on these tasty little trinkets

When another local Mediterranean restaurant was closed we found ourselves at Sahara Grille for dinner. I admit to being skeptical since the Grille is located in a mall food court, but as always the lure of my favorite cuisine won over. So I will put any possible hesitancy to rest right now - this is some really good food! It is cooked fast and to order and has all of the bright delicious flavor you would expect from any similar sit down restaurant. Meal platters come with rice, hummus and tabbouli. Tahini sauce and yogurt sauce are also available. Next time you are shopping try out Sahara and get the good healthy food.

The quality of the food went downhill big time!!! They’re using cheap italian dressing for the greek salad, the rice pilaf no longer has the seasoned meat mixed in and it seems like its instant rice from the microwave… Insanely overpriced for the quality. We’ll never return and had been 10 year customers. Sad. I knew something was off when they moved to the mall food court. They won’t last much longer with food like that. It was disgusting
