Visiting Ohio from New York, we wanted a special dinner. This place was it! It was very busy, with only 2 waitstaff, but they worked hard, and we had stellar service. The food was incredible, right down to the side salads. Highly recommend!

This is a local steak house with local charm. I just had my birthday dinner here and I can say it was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and you have to try the baklava cheesecake... it's off the hook!!

The wife and I each had the strip steak, although I had the larger version. Medium rare, with baked potato and salad and side of onions and mushrooms. We can say enough good things about the meal, or the service. Johnny was an outstanding server! The steak literally melted in our mouths. The wife wanted the Baklava cheesecake for dessert so we split a piece. It's Grandma's recipe and the honey comes from Johnny's beehives! Outstanding!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I am beyond thankful that Sparta Lounge has always been accommodating to my digestive disorder. They happily prepare my food the way I need it made so that I can eat a meal out with my family. And the food is so yummy! But the best thing about Sparta Lounge is the owners and everyone who works there. We are treated like family every visit. We laugh A LOT when we are there. I highly recommend Sparta Lounge for a nice dinner, and its a great place to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. My family and I love it there!

The owner makes you feel like you’re at his home eating his steaks and having good conversation! I loved everything about it. The owner gave took shots with us and gave us a drink on the house. Love love love it all. Best restaurant in town. My dad brought me here and the owner treated us phenomenal. 10/10 Will be back asap

I was hesitant to post since the owner, instead of learning from mistakes bashed the customers who gave a lower rating. First when ordering my husband ordered the pork chop, she came out told him they were out , understandable. He asked her for a suggestion, he always does because people that work there know what is best. He took her up on whatever it was. She came back out and said we can’t make it, he ordered for a third time and that worked. We got our salads and bread quickly also drinks, except she forgot his drink. He asked her again she apologized and said I’ll be right back. After 15 minutes he started for the bar to get a beer himself, she saw him and stopped him and went and got it. Food starts coming out the two other couples then ours and there was another lady with us who continued waiting. Our food was barely warm and as someone else said bland. I don’t salt my food but I really had to salt my steak and potatoes (they were cold and hard). The single lady got her drink for free because she was waiting so long. Then as we were all done she was told that her meal was free she had it put in a box to take home.
I’m not “picking on “ a local restaurant I’m telling you about my experience. It was subpar and we will never go back again. I wanted it to be good but it was not a good time. My husband is very, very kind to people in the restaurant industry as he was in the industry for over 30 years. Everyone at our table was kind and tipped well. Must have been an off night. For this long standing business.

I just ate here 3/19/25 and it was the best meal i’ve had in the last year. I thought about their goat cheese steak all day long. Finally, I got off of work and went straight there. I am beyond excited right now. It was SO DELICIOUS that I HAD to recover my gmail account password to get on here and write a review. The double baked potato, the asparagus, the STEAK; WAS SO GOOD. I CANT WRITE MY HAPPINESS OUT IN WORDS. Best meal ever today. The environment is chill, the music is exactly my style. I love this place. ANY bad reviews on this place are leather BORED AND LYING or STRAIGHT UP KAREN COMPLAINERS. This place was worth every single cent I paid, although I never spend that much on a meal. My day was MADE. I will think about this meal for a long time… THANK YOU!

Steaks were delicious! As well as everything else. The server was very friendly and went above and beyond! . My fiancé and I had a great time! We will be back!
