They were very busy and only had 2 wait staff. Dinner took over 2 hours ? Food was excellent.

I literally feel like I hit the lottery!!! I ordered a blueberry martini, grape leaves, and a Greek salad w/chicken!! My husband ordered a steak dinner. Nothing short of AMAZING!! Our waiter was the owners grandson. He is an absolute gem!! My new favorite restaurant!! Thank you for the outstanding service, atmosphere, and amazing food!!

I was so very defeated over this visit because I expected so much more. I would like to say I'm giving it a second chance but at those prices I'm not sure I can do that ?

6/28/24. My first time eating at Sparta. I’ve been there for drinks but never had a meal. I hate to admit that because I’ve lived in this area my entire life. We had a 5:30 reservation and I’m glad we did. It was Friday and got busy quickly. Our server was Alisha and she was fantastic. Very informative and helpful. Getting right to it we started with the bang bang shrimp and cheese sticks for appetizers. The cheese sticks were perfectly fried. Not burned like some can do and the oil must have been fresh. The shrimp are lightly breaded and still give you the shrimp flavor. Not overpowered by breading. And yet not fishy and just a bit of heat. I got a filet with a blackberry glaze and feta. It was a special. When the steak came out I was concerned with what the doneness would actually be because it was so huge. It was a perfect medium rare and the actual temperature was also excellent. My sides were the double baked potato and Brussel Sprouts with bacon. The potato is a gem. Covered in cheddar and craveable. Dipped in sour cream it’s great. The Brussels are shaved so it’s a salad actually. I loved these like this. An excellent way to serve them. My wife also had a filet and Sparta fries. Her steak was a perfect medium rare and those fries, actually sliced fried potatoes, are great. A nice change to what you would get anywhere else. Our guest had a strip steak which was done to her liking also. We took home the baklava cheesecake and we both liked it very much. A nice twist to ordinary cheesecake which you can also get. The Sparta has long been a favorite in Canton and I can see why. It’s a one of a kind in style and atmosphere. The place was full of obvious regulars who I’m sure have been going there for many years. If I have one tiny critique it was the seasoning on the steaks. My steak had the glaze so it was fine. Both my wife’s steak and our guests seemed to be lacking any seasoning. And it’s a comment I’ve seen repeated. Other than that our experience was excellent. Thank you again Alisha and hope to have you serve us again. If you haven’t tried this place, give it a shot. If for nothing else the drinks and atmosphere. It’s really cool.
Drove 3 hours to an event in Canton at the stadium. Being the first time in Canton to a event and also to eat, so I decide to try Sparta. Long story short I felt as if fast food put more love into thier food..I'll never be back as I would just embarrase myself for being there and I do not recommend this atrocity of a steak house. Well.., here are the opinions: 1. Ate here on a Thursday and noticed the place wasnt packed and has plenty of seating, was asked if i had reservation and said no and was seated. I was brought a water and a menu and was asked if i wanted a drink but i stuck with the water. I was told quickly of items that werent on the menu but it was so quick and a lot of items i just couldnt remember any of them by the time the waitress was done so i veared toward the menu items as i could read and see what those items are, the waitress then suggested i hurry up and order due to dinner traffic but the place wasnt even close to full. I felt extremely rushed. I ordered the 16oz ribeye and when i finally recieved it i wanted to immeditly throw up on the steak and throw it at the waitresses for even considering to bring the worst steak ive ever had to me, this thing was 50% fat, cooked uneven, burnt fried marks not one pinch of seasoning and it tasted like vegitable oil haha the restaurant is a absolute joke. Whitecastle would have been better haha.

It was my first time at Sparta. We sat at the bar and ate dinner. The service was excellent. My lobster was awesome, and the atmosphere was really unique. I will definitely be back. It was, overall, an excellent place for date night

You pull up to this place and it is absolutely no indication of how amazing the food will be. The staff, bar none, some of the best waitstaff I've ever encountered. Food was amazing. My only issue was the bathroom. Down so many stairs after I was healing from a broken leg. That was difficult. But beautiful and clean.
