I was in town for Pro Football Hall of Fame induction weekend. I looked up Downtown Canton's website for restaurants and I decided to give this restaurant a try on a Saturday evening. I enjoyed the service; the owner was welcoming, the bartenders were friendly plus Chloe, one of the bartenders, always checked in to make that I was having good experience. I really liked the Purple Rain cocktail even though I'm not a big consumer of alcohol. I also enjoyed the Garlic Parmesan wings (wished I would've ordered more to take back to my hotel lol). As good as the mac n' cheese was; I wished it was served in a bowl or on a small saucer instead of a plastic container. I would patronize this place when I come back to Canton again.

I read the reviews and thought let me try it. Black owned I was excited; it was my birthday. When I walked in the waitress was eating at the bar, I was the only one in the restaurant (AKRON) and felt special, I had the entire place to myself. I ordered fried catfish, macaroni and cheese, greens. The mac and cheese had no cheese. It looked like old dried-up elbow shells. The greens were rough not fully cooked, the catfish was greasy as if it had been rewarmed not fresh nor hot. lukewarm old food. I had to ask for a napkin, lemons for the water. The waitress asked if I wanted hot sauce and I said no, tater sauce please. She was very unfriendly and acted as if she did not want to be there. I asked if they had any bread. The waitress said yes from Sunday, and it was Thursday! I don't ever want to come back and do not recommend Marques (AKRON) to anyone. Awful wood and service! Worse birthday dinner ever!

When I tell you that their wings were "slap yo momma" good. Believe me! ? Literally the best wings this side of heaven. Fancy place. Perfect night with the girls.
