I am a long time Taggarts customer. It is a small restaurant, but they make amazing use of the space and I have always felt comfortable there. Known for its great ice cream and old soda shop classics. Try a phosphate or a mini bitner when you are there! It doesn't just have great ice cream, it's food menu is high quality. I recommend the wimpy or the executive if you want a great sandwiches. A truly unique and fun place that is very family friendly. If you are just visiting Canton, check out the hall of fame and taggarts to have a true Canton experience!
Amazing ice cream and engaging staff, friendly. Homemade ice cream hot fudge and whipped cream what more could a person ask for on a warm summer night.
Your standard ice cream ice place with some fried food.
Expected better but that’s what happens when you expect!! Tried an early dinner, 1/2 lb hamburger was disappointing, my Fiancé grill cheese was good. Now the Ice Cream, I am an Ice Cream Connoisseur so with that being said, not impressed. I had the Buckeye Sundae, too many buckeyes and fudge, took away from the whole sundae, my fiancé had a butterscotch sundae and was not thrilled. OK but not top tier.
So good! I would give the presentation a 4 star but it was all made up in taste!
Best ice cream around.
Very good ice cream & prices were very reasonable.
THE BEST BUTTER PECAN WITH THE MOST PECANS😋❤️
Food is great. Fabulous French onion soup and great ice cream.
Get a Bittner! They are awesome!

Always a stop for dessert when in town. Very good portions size for ice cream. A real gem to have this place still
An amazing place, my fiance and his family brought me here for the first time it had the feel of when you where little and your parents brought you to a candy store and said go nuts or crazy. The food is amazing, but the ice cream is to die for. 100/10 would recommend to a friend.
The best ice cream in the area. If you like pecans I highly recommend their turtle sundae or Bittner.

Stopped in for ice cream with some of my grandchildren. I ordered my favorite butter, pecan and Butterfinger ice cream. both ice cream tasted just like vanilla ice cream. The butter pecan had no flavor other than the pecan itself the Butterfinger ice cream Had very little Butterfinger candies I was very dissatisfied after spending $25 on ice cream

Super busy. Nice day yesterday. Waited for 20 minutes while others were served....to be told if you want dine in go over there. We just wanted ice cream but it was raining. Got seated ordered, waitress nice, prompt. Fudge brownie w hot fudge and add pecans. It was terrible. The brownie was as hard....not joking....hard as charcoal from a barbeque. I thought I'll dig into the middle and it will be soft ... No. Spoon wouldn't go in. So I tried it ....to see if it indeed WAS Chocolate. So I bit one of the small rocks accompaning my charcoal lumps. Hard, dry, I pictured the fresh warm brownie pan ( menu description )sitting for 3 weeks to get this bad. I toss the brownie onto a napkin on the table and try the rest. The fudge was cold. Had never been warm. Good tasting. Pecans very good. I ate them with the whipped cream and cherry. Vanilla Ice cream was good.
All in all it was sooooo busy....we got a bad day??? Never order the brownie...I swear.
