First time visit for myself and my friend whom is Gluten-free. Our server Logan was fantastic and made sure we knew he knew she was GF. He made sure she knew the menu options and every delivery to our table, he reassured us, without even asking. "Here is the gluten free bread just out of the oven" Drinks were fantastic and so was our meals. We look forward to visiting again.
Not a very large menu with very little variety. The presentation of the salmon was poor compared to expectations of Gervasi as a whole. It was also a very small piece of fish and not well seasoned, not worth $31.
Enjoyable afternoon spent on the grounds of Gervasi. Dinner at The Bistro was beyond our expectations. We were able to have our party of 6 be seated by the fireplace which added to the ambience. From drinks and appetizers to the luscious desserts, the food was beyond delicious. Kudos to our Connor, who was our server for the evening. He made the evening even more special.
Everything about Gervasi screams excellence except one thing: some of its patrons. We've been coming to the bistro since the day it opened, but over the years, we have seen a decline in class from the diners. They arrive in shorts, t-shirts, flip flops - looking like they just got off the boat at Portage Lakes. Dinner for 2 cost us $300. This should be a place that enforces the dress code they put into place recently, but they don't. I was seated across from a man (inside dining room) who removed his shoes as soon as he sat down. I told our server who said he would tell the management, but nobody did anything. I had to stare at this man's feet my entire (expensive) meal. I followed a man into the building who had just smoked a cigarette outside (there is no smoking on the property). Another time, a group of people came in who were stopping by before heading to a concert at Blossom. They were dressed in shorts and graphic t-shirts. Management didn't say a word. Why have a dress code if you're not going to enforce it? Maybe people don't mind saving up for a special occasion and getting dressed up only to sit next to a person who looks like they just got done cutting their grass, but we won't be coming back.
I have eaten here three times. One meal was excellent. One was terrible (was taken off the bill) the other was just meh (pasta was not done- not al dente, just not done). My mom had a gluten free pizza (which is nice that they have) but it was inedible. Like, really bad. Servers were great! People are great! Wine is very good! Food is bad.
My husband and I went to Gervasi for our first visit to celebrate his birthday and had a wonderful meal and evening. The space is beautiful and classy, and our server, Logan, was very personable and informative about the menu items, as well as wine selections. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. We shared the pierogi appetizer and the kale/apple salad, because it was very large.I had the chicken piccata and my husband had the beef brisket; both were delicious. We had cocktails and I also had a glass of their Pinot Grigio, which was really good. My husband said that he could tell that the bartender who made his Old-fashioned must really enjoy crafting great cocktails. We found out that his name is Carmen, so kudos to him! The seasonal cheesecake accompanied by espresso was a great way to finish our meal. We came in from out of town, so unfortunately, can't make a return visit easily, but if we lived in this area, it would definitely be our go to place for special occasions; highly recommend!
We had a wonderful meal at the Bistro. Our server was excellent and our food was delicious. If you are looking for a nice place to eat, we highly recommend it. Gervasi has beautiful grounds as well. Loved it!
I loved the short rib entre which was recommended by my server. She was fast, kind, and friendly. My seating was not ideal. I was seated in a corner behind a large party. Felt very isolating but server was very attentive.
The bistro at the Gervasi winery was a fantastic experience. We went for my wife's birthday with friends, and we were all extremely impressed with the grounds at the winery and the quality of the food at the restaurant. I would highly recommend.
Excellent time, was here for a birthday celebration. Food was excellent, service was excellent, server was very knowlegeable on both food and drink menu and went the extra mile to ensure the birthday meal was special.

Amazing experience overall you have to come early and walk the whole property. We got a drink at the Stillhouse before dinner and it just made the whole experience even better. Food was so good. We would recommend!!
Using a wedding gift from friends, we visited and dined at Gervasi Vineyard for our second anniversary. It was a delightful experience all around and we look forward to sharing photos and our report with our friends. Thank you!
Overall, it was less spectacular than I expected, but it wasn't bad. The portions were a little small and could have been more exciting and memorable. Especially for the cost. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff was very nice with acknowledging that. They even brought us a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a celebratory message in chocolate on the plate. The atmosphere was very nice, and I would like to try it again with hope for potentially slightly better results. In the end, I definitely expected more, but it wasn't completely terrible either. I wanted for it to have been a five star experience, and I am willing to pay another visit. Hopefully maybe my experience, though not terrible, was possibly uncharacteristic. The grounds are beautiful, and the abundance of experiences available allow for an enjoyable trip. I look forward to visiting again and trying some other activities in addition to having dinner at the Bistro again. Hopefully, next time it will be the 5 star experience you come to expect from Gervasi; as they project it to be.
Gervasi is always wonderful! We go there for special occasions. Our waiter was absolutely delightful. A very kind man. Very well prepared very informative and attentive. Who could ask for anything more. We were celebrating an anniversary and it was just so nice and pleasant
Always enjoyable. Consistently high level service and food. We had a party of 4. One member ordered substitutions. When food arrived, the plates and food were cool for those ordering without any substitutions while the other was hot. Otherwise, very it would have been another 5 star food event.
