The food was so good, drink was so good and the belly dancer was so nice to watch with her colorful fans and outfit. This is an excellent restaurant to bring people from out of town who have never experienced Arab food and culture.

We had a fabulous meal and excellent service. Our group of 4 had 2 filet kabobs, lamb kabob, and beef kabob. They were all done perfectly as ordered and amazingly tender, flavorful, and juicy. The family platter of Syrian rice, roasted potatoes, garlic bread, and salad was plentiful and delicious. We all were satisfied and full. And we had leftover rice and potatoes.The only negative and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the size of the desserts. We ordered baklava and chocolate cake to go. The baklava was a 2" triangle and thin. The cake slice was a 2" wedge from a 6" round cake. For the price, they were surprising small. It was a celebration dinner and I forgot to take pictures of the food.

The atmosphere was delightful. The first thing that happened is that it is so dark, and the chairs are so slippery that my wife's chair slid out as I was holding it for her and she fell to the floor. The staff came to the rescue, but it was difficult for her to get up. The tablecloths were thick plastic. The wine was $28. It had a screw off cap and tasted like Boones Farm Apple. The salad was served after the entree. The Prime Rib was $38. and pure fat. I ate so much fat disguised as meat that actually threw up. I left 90% of it on the plate. I was so sick I couldn't even look at the salad. My wife had stuffed cod and said it was horrible. With gratuity it was $120. horror show. Then they insulted us by suggesting their meal merited clamshells. The owner who hovered at the start disappeared; when the check came. WE disappeared - NEVER to return.

Service was phenomenal! My favorites were the falafel,salad and the Syrian rice. The lamb shank was in a league of its own. If I can recommend a main dish at this establishment I would say the lamb shank!
