Pretty busy because we visited during the Bob Segar tribute. Food wasn't as good as other locations. Took awhile for someone to bring us drinks as we sat there eating chips and salsa. Server was quick and courteous.

I ordered carnita tacos, personally I did not like the seasoning😩 the rellano was not fried with the batter, the sauce was bitter, I'm from Cali, this is basic caucasian Mexican food😡

Came all the way from cali and got steak tacos. Let me just say these were one of the best tacos I have ever tried. My waiters were very kind and friendly. (Edit)I think there names where Manuel and Yesenia. But over all this was an amazing experience!!!❤️❤️❤️

I don't know what happened to this place but we won't be back. We went yesterday (Saturday) First, the food was so so bland...about the only thing that had good taste was the salsa that came with the free chips. I ordered my daughter Mac and cheese and at first glance was happy that it didn't look like the boxes kraft that most places use. She took one bite and said it didn't taste good, so I tasted it....as soon as it hit my mouth it tasted like soured dairy...it was so disgusting and instantly upset my stomach. I got an asada taco and a Birria taco. Only flavor came from the cilantro and onion on both...oh and of course the salsa I added to them. The birria consume had 0 flavor other than oil and the cilantro on top of it. Hubby got the quesidilla and again no flavor other than bland beef. I just don't understand how you can get bland Mexican food. This place used to be our favorite. I will say though that our waitress was nice and did her thing....but the food was awful.

Tlaquepaque Mexican Restaurant is one of our go-to spots for amazing Mexican food! The chicken and beef chimichangas are our absolute favorites—crispy on the outside, loaded with flavor on the inside, and always served hot and fresh. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. If you’re craving great Mexican food, Tlaquepaque never disappoints!

The food here is so bad. They use absolutely no spices what so ever. Its just boiled meat, no salt, no pepper. Take out food is disgusting. We will not be going here ever. We were so excited when they came to Oakwood. But sadly they have not made the cut.
Now if you want good tasting spiced food just go up the street a little and visit their Portage Street location. It is so good and the service is wonderful

Every time we go out of state it's hard to find a place where it's food it's almost like being at home! This place is definitely (you need to stop and try) it is authentic and gruet!
