I sat here and read all the negative reviews and still ordered. I ordered a small (not personal) pizza and some breadsticks. Went to pick it up and the guy hands me a tiny pizza box. I said I ordered a small, not a personal. After a few minutes of arguing with me he said "that's our small, they're expensive..." Cassano's in Carlisle is fantastic! The pizza is exactly the same as the ones we got in the 70's! The service is great, the call center is great and the delivery drivers are great!
A salted bottom pizza?!?! Whaaat? I was not expecting that and I could maybe best describe it as tasting like a soft pretzel. Which is def the highlight of the order. The jalapeno bread I wouldn't get again.. thick white bread sticks with nacho cheese pales to, or heightens perhaps, the pizza experience. We'd come back and tell our friends, it's worth the uniqueness and ooak bite, thanks Cassano!
