The absolute world center of entrepreneurial spirit. First time in here. Bowled over by Donna’s energy, her enthusiasm for quality and customer care. The food is primo...really delicious. Came in here bc we were hungry. Coming back bc we love the owner. Well worth an hours drive for a different lunch experience.

We been married 53 years but still love our date day with our country drives in our Mustang convertible. We saw Donna's Deli and it was a perfect match. Donna met us at the counter greeting us and asked if we were first timers. She explained the menu, a lot of stuff is on a deli menu! She showed us the desserts she made fresh for this day. We had sandwiches and homemade Italian stew soup which was excellent and of course dessert, upside down pineapple cake. The food was all excellent, but the service was better! Donna checked on us twice to make sure everything was the way we liked it. Everything is freshly made after you order. Really nice Deli experience.

What a great place this is! I got the special that was on homemade tomato basil bread that was homemade by this lovely young lady!The owner and staff are so attentive and pleasant, just wished I lived closer.

We set out for a drive to beautiful Atwood Lake near Carrollton and found Donna's Deli via Tripadvisor. The reviews were so good that we changed our plans for the day so we could try Donna's Deli since they are only open until 1:30 PM. There were four of us and we all tried something different and none of us were disappointed. I could go on and on about each entre but just get in the car and drive to Carrollton, OH. As great as the food was, Donna and her Team made the experience even better. Home cooked food using family recipes and much of the ingredients come right from Donna's garden. As busy as they were, Donna took time out to meet and visit with us; and she gave us a sample of her homemade hot pepper mustard that is Blue Ribbon quality. We are already planning to return very soon. Well done Donna!
What a great place to eat! My daughter and I stopped in and had a delicious lunch. The squash soup, made from squash grown by the owner, was fantastic. So were the sandwiches we ordered….a Reuben and a BLT. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. We will definitely be visiting this quaint restaurant again!

18 March 2022 we continued our Ohio County Seat Road Trip in Carrollton, the seat of Carroll County in Eastern Ohio. Right across the square from the courthouse we saw Donna's Deli and had to go, since my wife shares the same name. It is a very friendly, neat, and delightful shop right downtown. The food is all local and homemade by Donna Faye, the proprietor. We started with beef barley soup that was super rich and delicious. We both had the potato salad, Donna had a chicken salad on a croissant, and I had a Reuben sandwich, we split a big chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Everything was just perfect. We give Donna's Diner 5 Spoons on our Ohio Road Trip Diner's Guide. Bon voyage and bon appetit.
