The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I really loved the atmosphere of this place. It reminded me of the movie Grumpy Old Men for some reason. Our waitress was very nice.

Very odd experience here. As we walked in and waited to be seated, the staff saw us and didn't greet us or acknowledge us at all. Once we finally sat, we asked for a children's menu, the waitress tells us they "don't have one, but can make anything on the menu into a kids portion." So my youngest asked for chicken strips and immediately the waitress says "We can't do that in a kids size." Uummm what? You literally just said you can make anything into a kids size.... So we just get him the adult size and figure we'll take the rest home. Takes a while to get our food and when she brings it out she tells us the cook is still working on my son's chicken strips. So, we wait cuz we don't want to eat in front of him.... 10 MINUTES goes by and we have to flag down the waitress, and she says it should be out shortly. A few more minutes goes by and finally it's brought out. The whole time the staff keeps giving us weird looks and just acting rude. Seems like they just want their locals to eat there and no one else. Food wasn't even that good, sweet tea wasn't sweet. And when we were done eating we sat for idk how long waiting for the waitress to come by so we could ask for a to go box. Anytime she walked by she didn't even look at us, but asked her other tables if they needed anything. Then it took forever for her to bring our check. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. And I'll make sure to tell everyone I know how this place treats ppl that aren't their usual customers.

Well our experience started out great. We don't know why it went bad but it did. We got our drinks fast and our food came out in a timely manner. We were asked a couple of times if we needed anything then suddenly as we were finishing up we became invisible. We had planned on taking our leftovers but after waiting and being ignored and overlooked for 10 minutes I finally had to just ask for our check and even then it was a few more minutes wait. The entire experience was odd! What ever the reason we won't ever be back. The food was mediocre at best.
