A+ Can't wait to go back! The Afternoon Tea was fabulous. So many delicious choices. We took dessert and an extra quart of soup home (potato soup)-- also fresh and sooo good. Carrot cake and lemon raspberry cake -- highly recommend. Lovely atmosphere--Victorian and ornate, but comfortable at the same time.
Took my daughter yesterday for lunch. I was totally blown away , it's absolutely beautiful and so clean ! It was such a great experience!!!
absolutely beautiful! had a great experience!!!
Great experience! Small town charm with top notch service. Food was great and many teas to choose from. Highly recommend.
I was amazed at how wonderful the Grand Tea Room is. Never had a real tea party before and it has been many years that all 4 of us sisters have been together. We really enjoyed having a real tea party (like we were young again). Definitely will be come back. I am from New Jersey and my sister lives in OH. will be able to visit time and time again.
My friend and I came here out of curiosity as we’ve never been to a tea room before. Place was decorated nicely and is in a cute little town. Bought tea for 2 and two cups of soup.
Waiter never asked us what tea we wanted and only offered us a soft drink besides the water we got. What kind of place doesn’t ask you what tea you want when you order tea for 2?! So we did not receive tea for our meal.
The cookies were just okay. But I wish we could have had 1 of each cookie so we could try everything out. The sandwiches were also fine and I liked that you could pick them out.
Soup was never brought out so I asked the waiter to take it off my bill. After we left, I noticed they never gave us our scones either, so I don’t know if they were any good or not! 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for ripping us off.
Safe to say I don’t recommend this place and won’t be returning!

I really wanted to give this place five stars across the board, but in all honesty I can't do it. If the proprietor reads my review, my comments are meant to be helpful suggestions and not ugly criticism. We had a lovely tea there and would like to go again. But there were a few deficiencies that made the experience less than ideal. first off, there was so much de'cor covering our tabletop that there was very little room for our food, water goblets, and cups and saucers. When we ordered our tea, it became immediately apparent that only one cup and saucer was on the table set for 2. We had to ask. Our waitress was charming and adorable and gave helpful suggestions. However one of our meals was served at least 5 minutes prior to the other and possibly closer to 10 minutes. Needless to say this was awkward and uncomfortable for the person who should be eating their meal while hot instead of waiting for the other person to be served so much later. Additionally, we had to request the side dish twice that had been ordered and not served before it reached our table. When the second meal arrived on a two-tiered serving platter, it was plunked down on the customer's plate instead of placed to the side where the items could be conveniently accessed and brought onto the plate for consuming. But that was understandable, since there was absolutely no room on the table to place anything else. It was completely up to the customer to figure out how to rearrange everything on that table to make it work. The food was tasty and portions were adequate.
As to the decor, it will either appear as hopelessly cluttered or delightfully eclectic. Everywhere one's eye alights there is something unique and antique. It seems perfect for an old fashioned Tea Party and ideal for groups of ladies and girls. Yes, I would like to go again and order another entre' from their expansive menu. Soup next time for sure, and definitely another delicious scone.

Highly recommend the food and tea here is amazing!! The owner is so sweet and the employees are also!!
Had a lovely birthday tea with my toddler. Our server Emma was kinda and accommodating to all of our requests. I was delighted they allowed my little girl to use the china for her tea, it made a special morning for her. It was warm and inviting and the smells of the fresh quiche wafting through the dining room made a nostalgic atmosphere. I don’t enjoy tea, but the chai tea was delightful and I would order it again.

A delightful tea house that is warm and welcoming and the food is wonderful! I’ve been to more than a dozen tea houses and this is one of my favorite! I’m from out of town but plan to make a trip back again soon! Be sure to check out their ice cream soda shop around the corner after you visit the shops next door.
Had afternoon tea here for the first time today. It was really good! They know how to make a proper cuppa tea too!!! The portions of food were great, the prices were great, and so was the service. I recommend this tea room!

We had a very pleasant experience well worth the hour drive to get there. We got the tea for two it was a wonderful sampling of everything they had. I got a smoky tea it was Heavenly I enjoyed it so much I bought tea to go home. The owners were fabulous. Our server Emma was the sweetest person you ever want to meet. I highly recommend enjoying it the the decoration is Victorian.
