Kolacheez Coffee Bar

Wow! Super sweet food, a variety of drinks options and very kind people who work here. The cookie i got was over the top and the strawberry drink hit the spot. I don't know what kolacheez is but now I have to look it up. Thanks!

I recently rode my bicycle across the state of Ohio on The Ohio to Erie Trail. I saw signs for this coffee bar and decided to make this a dedicated stop.

I was greeted out front by the owner when I arrived on bike and he was super friendly. Told me to take my bike inside and make myself at home.

I ordered an ice coffee and a strawberry banana smoothie. Both were very delicious and affordable.

The owner came over to chat with me for a while. We had a great conversation about the history of the coffee bar and just life in general.

They even let me hang out a little past closing time and didn’t even mention to me it was time to close up. I only figured out they were closed when I asked “what time do you close today” Haha. I stayed a few more minutes longer and took my ice coffee to go!

The hospitality was of the highest standards and I would recommend this place to everyone.

My friends and I were riding OTET and tried stopping trail side in for something to drink. Both shops we saw were closed. As we resigned ourselves to riding up the trail to the next town, the owner of Kolacheez pulled up in his car to invite us to his place. Though Kolacheez closed at 3pm and it was 2:55, he kept his store open so we could have food and drinks. I cannot say enough about how his hospitality and kindness changed the course of the day. Thank you so much for taking care of us and going out of your way to do it!

Rich tasty coffee. Excellent desserts. A pleasant place to stop and sip.

Every Saturday morning when I tell my dogs we are going to Kolacheez they get so excited for their pup cups. We have been going for years the staff and owner are always so nice. I like there adaptation better than Shipleys I have gotten on my trips to Texas.

Great food, love all of the Kolacheez that I've tried. They always have delicious coffee/latte specials too!

Always a good treat when I am going through Centerburg. They can run out of food items as they are prepared fresh daily, but everything i have gotten has been excellent. Service is always top notch. Highly recommend stopping in and getting some food and a coffee.

10/10. Staff was SO friendly. Coffee top tier and the Kolachees were to die for. (disclaimer i have never had one before so nothing to compare too) Definitely get the sausage egg cheese and jalapeños! We bought some coffee beans as well that are brewing as I type. We will absolutely be back 🥰

Stumbled across this coffee shop while dropping off our four-legged family member at Altizer Vet - and I have to say that 100% I will be back anytime I’m in town. Heck I may even make a trip back just for the coffee! I got the Buckeye Latte and it was probably the best one I’ve ever had. The flavor was notable but not over-powering, it still was a light sip and you can taste the espresso still faintly. Before I knew it I had drank the whole thing - which I typically only get about halfway with a latte and I can’t drink anymore. Also - the sausage, egg, and cheese Kolachee was very yummy! 10/10 a must visit!

It took a while to find this cute little restaurant but SO WORTH IT! First the kolacheez “bun wrap”’was tender and warm. The entire place was CLEAN and the employees were warm and inviting. We went back today and I started with the salted caramel latte. Next time I will try the pumpkin swirl latte, and so forth. Support this great family endeavor! There’s upstairs seating and a convenient drive up window, also. Cyclists on the Ohio Trail stopped in today while we were there, got refreshments and used the bathroom. Yay for them! Looking forward to having more cowboy cookies and danish!

I enjoyed my frozen coffee, kolache and danish They tasted great. I had an egg, cheese and bacon kolache and a cream cheese danish. I think they are overpriced but a place I'll visit occasionally for a sweet treat.

Really nice staff, food 😋 was delicious, coffee was good. My son loved spicy mango smoothie 😋. It was worth the 1 hr drive. Will definitely be back.
