We ordered two apps, the pork belly and the Brazil snack (empanada like pouches). Both were really good! For dinner we had the tri tip steak (my son rated 9.5/10), stragonoff and xim xim (both really good). The service was excellent and our waitress answered any questions and offered some suggestions. It was the perfect dinner.
My husband, daughter, and I came in on the one year anniversary of our rehearsal dinner, which was at Batuqui. Lauren gave us as exceptional service on Saturday as she did the year before. The food was as delicious as always. This is our go-to for celebrations and to show out of towners some of the best Cleveland has to offer.
It was our first trip here. The staff is just wonderful and the entire ambience of the place is great. The food is really unusual and well done. We ate inside and it got actually a little bit loud for a not very big place. Other than that, it was an absolutely positive experience in every way and very relaxing. We will certainly go back and try some more of their unusual dishes with our friends.
