I've passed this place many times but my husband stopped with our daughter since she was wanting ice cream on a hot day. I was surprised when he walked up with a cup of vegan ice cream for me! I did not expect how good that bite was going to be: it's sweet and creamy coconut ice cream with dark chocolate chunks, shredded coconut, and pineapple. Apparently they often have vegan chocolate (they were out today but I would have chosen this coconut flavor over that myself)...
Today, I used my ID showing my 1975 birth year in order to get my free ice cream. The young man taking my order was so congratulatory and joyful to see my birthday. He made me feel very celebrated. What a wonderful place and wonderful staff that make you feel like they are truly happy about giving a free treat, sincere generosity!!
I had trouble deciding on what to order because there's so many options here. You can have ice cream, frozen custard, and more in lots of different formats - shakes, sundaes, etc. They don't have any coffee flavored ice cream regularly, but I wish they did because that would make it easier for me to order.
