The subs are tasty but don't get the combos. I want the fountain drink and chips which on the sign saws $2.49. I was charged for the chips and the fountain drink separately at $2.29 each. I questioned the worker about the over charging and the Point of Sales selection comes up free, he was told by management to charge separately for each item nor would he refund me my $2.20 over payment. The Berea, Ohio location is a rip off!

I never thought I'd have another italian sub sandwich again after I stopped eating meat in the late '90s (yeah, people can do it for that long and still be alive. Amazing, right?). And then I saw that Dave's Cosmic Subs has vegan options. Well now I'm enjoying them again thanks to this place. I can't believe I've waited this long to try anything from them, but I'm making up for it now.

Been a fan of Dave’s my whole life, grew up in the area and have been coming here as long as I can remember. Ordered at #27 Grateful Dave (and they specifically requested I pay in cash, somewhat odd) and when I got back to my office and took a bite, I saw there was no turkey on the sandwich. So I called and let them know and took the turkeyless sandwich back so they could see and remake it. The woman on the phone didn’t believe me, and supposedly the owner made the sandwich himself. When I got back to the shop they seemed very suspicious (maybe thought I was scamming them to get extra meat or a second sandwich?), and instead of making a new sandwich, they handed me a couple slices of turkey in foil and sent me on my way. Very odd and off putting experience, I barely got an apology. Very disappointing, especially if the owner was the one responsible for the mistake and not properly making it right. I did ultimately enjoy the sandwich though.

This store was absolutely incredible. In addition to delicious subs their customer service is bar none. After an issue with an Uber Eats order, the manager Zach was on the phone for almost 20 min himself assisting us in resolving the matter and was able to make things right. That cannot be said for many places. Strong recommendation!

This place is AWESOME!! I would give it 10 stars if I could. As soon as you step in to this place...the ambience is super fun! The smells are so tantalizing! The owner is super cool and friendly! The staff as so fun and helpful with everything. And the food.....these people use the absolute BEST QUALITY INGREDIENTS!!! You will definitely be back for more! I know I will:)....thanks for being the best sub place in CLEVELAND OH!!!
I have been consuming Dave's subs for decades! I once ate meat but am now vegetarian. I was THRILLED to see plant based Turkey Dave options on the menu! I was informed upon pickup that these offerings were new to the menu. Love the inclusivity and the sammies were scrumptious! 10/10 recommend I will be back to try the rest of the vegan options!!! Meatball next!!

I've never been to a Dave's cosmic subs before. I went in and the place was really cool. Rock and roll themed with photos all over the walls. I ordered the steak sammich. It took probably 6 or 7 minutes to have it prepared. I got it to go. The friendly woman at the register asked what i wanted on it and i said however it comes. When my sammich was ready, i walked to my car with it and got in. I opened it up and it was steaming hot. So i had to wait a few minutes to let it cool. And then........ Holy cow. Maybe the best sammich i ever had. I eat a lot of sandwiches. But this one, this was different. It was so good. I don't know, maybe it's the sauce. But i was in awe of how great this was. I can't wait to get another one. It was the regular size and maybe $11. But i would now pay $30 for another. It was that great.

Extremely disappointing experience. I placed my order at least 30 minutes before arriving, but once I got to the store, they hadn’t even started preparing it. The store was almost empty, yet the staff were just playing around. When I asked about my order, they were extremely rude and unprofessional.
Even if we overlook the lack of basic facilities.the behavior of the staff alone makes this place unbearable. They are very rude, not polite at all, and clearly don’t care about customers.
And to top it all off, even if you put up with all of this, the food is not worth it at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
