We ordered takeout. It was hot, fresh, and really good! I've been going to Empress Court for many years and it's always been my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area!

Traditional Chinese American restaurant that has wonderful service and amazing food. I ordered their Empress Chicken, which had so many distinct layers of flavors. First, the sauce was so good, but not overwhelming. Afterwards, the breading on the chicken was uniquely flavored and complemented the sauce itself Lastly, the chicken was juicy and authentic. Some chicken at other restaurants can taste gummy or rubbery. Not here. And to top it off, the price was very reasonable! And the service was so respectful and prompt too. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Placed an order for Christmas day pick-up nearly 32 hours in advance. They were happy to take my card details over the phone and have me pre-pay for the order. Christmas day arrives and I show up at the agreed-upon time for them to tell me "we lost your order and haven't even started making it yet". They weren't sorry, apologetic or willing to discount the order or do anything to accommodate me and my entire family's food order on CHRISTMAS day. Major bummer. They told me they lost their lease renewal and it (unfortunately) seems to be for the better. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra two miles down the road to Hunans.

Disappointed! Use to be my favorite place. Haven't been here in over a year, ordered on Christmas Eve and the food has changed! Beef, I'm not sure the meat in the beef fried rice is beef. Two chicken dishes were forgotten in my order. The Mongolian beef should be considered Mongolian vegetables - "where's the beef"? I know it was a busy night, but based on my most recent visit, I would not recommend! Very, very disappointed.

I have been eating Chinese food my whole life- I’m 51… this was just bland and not flavorful enough for me. I never trust a Chinese restaurant if their wonton soup broth looks like dishwater…. If I had seen that first- I would have definitely made a different choice. I ordered wonton soup, and the happy family with white rice…not going back!
