10000000/10 best coffee shop in the cleveland area if not the entire world. staff is incredibly kind and the coffee is incredibly delectable. i love Jim the owner and everything about this shop is phenomenal. thank you alexis for the amazing avocado toast!!

Super cute local coffee shop. Loved the vibe. Baristas were extremely nice and easy to talk to. I got a hot team which was OK. It tasted more like hot water vs black tea. Would definitely check it out if you me in the area or need a mid afternoon pick me up.

Nobody asked me to write this but I feel compelled to post it. This is genuinely great. I work at a restaurant as a host and can change the music there. When I do, the managers get on my case because it's not the "assigned music." Which is the total most BS thing. Here? This coffee shop? They play music that is the vibe. This is such a genuine atmosphere of people with nothing but the best most human-decent intentions and I think that's something a lot of businesses these days don't capture, but this coffee spot does.
Of course a business like this needs to make good food, good coffee, good service, and I think Heartwood in Chagrin does that, absolutely. But I just have to highlight the genuine atmosphere because I really think (working in the same industry) that, this quality is lost at many places. That makes Heartwood a gem by the waterfall.

In Gen-Z terms, everyone who works here is a main character.

Great Place !!

Really cute place right on the town square where I stopped on a road trip with my family visiting from New Zealand. The staff were incredibly friendly (wish I'd gotten their names!) and even offered us flat whites (a popular style of coffee in New Zealand). The coffees were among the best on our trip, and we will always fondly remember this spot. A must-visit if you're passing through Chagrin Falls!
