This should be a great restaurant: sadly it isn’t. The atmosphere is well curated in summer, the drinks and some of the food are good. Unfortunately they either have chronic staff shortages or very low standards of service. I don’t blame my server; at one point I saw the poor guy making all the drinks for my table behind the bar.

I’ve been here twice and both times were similar. If you’re going to make the trip to Chagrin just go for the real thing upstairs at Jojo’s.

Wanted an outdoor dining experience since the weather has been so beautiful. Have been here before and had to wait for a table. Should have known something was up because the patio was almost empty. For some reason we were seated at a table with a high chair. The hostess took it away and there was trash on the floor which was left for us to look at. Actually the entire floor needed a good sweeping. The bench I was sitting on was sticky and also needed to be wiped down.
Our server brought us water and said she would come back and take our drink orders. When it was taking her a while to come back another server saw us looking around and asked if we needed anything. He found our server and she took our drink and food orders. The menu is limited and she started out by telling us they were out of 2 items.
While we were eating I noticed several people come to the hostess station and they left. Don’t know if they were closing early or choosing to go someplace else. I wish I had.

Outside dinning is very nice, as is the inside.
Been there a few times in the last couple of months when visiting with friends on the east side.
Been there again on 9/1, great again! Background .music a bit loud, try to get table away from speakers.

I used to dine here frequently and after a few months I came back and it has gone VERY downhill. There were fruit flies all all over the place. The food came out cold. The food had no flavor. The portion sizes were cut in half. Overall it was not a pleasant dining experience.

My burger had zero taste. Zero. It was also over cooked. When I advised the waitress she apologized but offered nothing in return. Sorry but I was disappointed and will not be back.

Food was great...we got steak skewers, shrimp cocktail, truffle fries and shrimp skewers....jalapeño margaritas were excellent! We did have some mistakes with the food order and drinks took awhile but overall I'll be back.

We were a party of 8, the service was great but 5/8 of us had disappointing meals to say the least.
The Lobster roll bun was burnt, my Pipe Rigate with Spicy Vodka was cold when it arrived and when they heated it back up the sauce was like paste and the noodles overcooked. My daughter had the Bucatini Al Limone with Shrimp, it was also served cold and the shrimp was very rubbery. We also ordered the steak skewer platter was completely charred, including the steak.
I do not think we will be back.

I have been here a few times and it has been very good, historically. Today, was one of the worst dining experiences. The hummus, which is usually full of chunky fresh vegetables, was runny and sparsely sprinkled with soggy vegetables. The steak on the steak skewers was so over marinated that it tasted and textured like it was coated in a pate. Both meals were very poorly prepared.

We sat at the bar outside and the bar service was terrible. it took about 10 minutes to get anyone's attention (they weren't busy), but a lot of them were in the back talking and having fun which is fine when there aren't waiting customers. We did get our drinks and they were made completely wrong so another bartender remade them. One of the bartenders had a retainer or some kind of mouthguard in his mouth and kept spitting it out and pulling it back onto his teeth with his tongue,.. constantly -and when I say constantly, I mean every five seconds. He was doing that above the drinks while he was making them. Everyone at the bar were strangers to each other but we were all looking at each other like, oh my gosh this is so disgusting.

It was so bad that I don't think we will go back- we are very disappointed because we really liked that spot. We went across the way to 17 River Grille - it was like night and day. We were greeted immediately by the most lovely, sweet, and friendly bartender and every staff member working behind the bar was very attentive to everyone sitting at the bar. I think that might be our new go-to....

I do not understand how this place is connected with JoJos. That restaurant is great while this was underwhelming. My wife and I both bought salads with grilled chicken. Both salads had barely any ingredients in them however they were still pricy. It feels like they are just letting go. Things seem to be run down; dirty benches, light fixtures falling apart, gross fans covered in grime, and the staff seemed not as attentive or well trained as last summer.

What the hell happened to this place? The portions were cut in half and they’re half of the plate that used to be here. The historically wonderful heirloom tomato and burrata salad got reduced 66% and there was ONE heirloom tomato and the rest was some obnoxiously sweet tomato jam that I’m sure cut costs.
The historically terrific tenderloin skewers had the meat portion cut in half and was overcooked; too disappointed to even ask for another when I did ask for medium rare to rare.
And now the lobster roll. It’s a full size bun with the middle third hollowed out to fit a small scoop of overdressed lobster meat.
The wonderful staff and outdoor space can’t save this place from whoever is slashing costs.

Great food, great service, great vibe the whole 9. I've been trying to get to JoJo's for over a year. Each time I've made plans to go it's always been detoured for whatever reason. This had been by far one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. So glad I've gotten the chance to go. I will be back.

Everything was good - only complaint was related to slow service start - took awhile for someone to show up but from then on - excellent. main course came out perhaps 10 minutes or so quicker than would have been ideal. These are fine points of feedback - we were very happy overall with the people, service and food.
