Wow!!! Just go!
As we always do, we consulted Google maps when we found ourselves in a city we've never been, to help us decide what to have for dinner. The reviews for Pizzeria DiLauro convinced us that we must go. The set up is nice; as they have a dining room for families and also have the lounge next door for the 21+ crowd. We snagged two seats at the bar and were greeted quickly. One of the reasons we were drawn to this place was the reviews and photos of their house made meatballs. We quickly learned that their house made meatballs are only available on Wednesdays but the pizzas coming out of the kitchen looked incredible so we knew we were still going to have a great dinner. We chose the Luca pizza: pepperoni, pickled jalapenos and a drizzle of hot honey for good measure. The pizza was perfection! A beautiful, thin, crunchy crust, with a light sauce that let the toppings shine. I wouldn't change a thing about this pizza! The cocktails were well made and refreshing, as well.

Two things I'd recommend: go early on Friday if you want to avoid a wait. We got there at 4p and had no problem getting a seat. But when we left at 515p, there were at least 15 groups patiently waiting for a table. Second recommendation - get the homemade cannoli! We had the orange cream on this visit and WOW was it delicious!!

We will definitely be back - on a Wednesday to try the meatballs!!!!

This is the best pizza you will get out here. This pizza is the closest thing you will get to east coast pizza. People leaving bad reviews saying the pizza is burnt, stick to your Pizza Hut/ Dominoes pizza. It’s a well done pizza. You can ask for a light bake if you don’t like charr

Awesome experience!! Bar tend was very attentive and knowledgeable about menu. Great atmosphere, easy to talk to perfect strangers sitting next to us. Will definitely be back!!

Wow! I have truly had some amazing pizza all over the United States, but this place is pretty up there for me. Grabbed some delivery last night, and was totally impressed with the balance and quality. The airiness and texture of the crust, the fresh flavorful sauce, and perfectly crisp toppings really blew me away. Not to mention the homemade creamy Gorgonzola dip absolutely was perfection! We will definitely be back!!!

Worst pizza i've ever had in my life. It was burnt terribly to the point where you couldn't even eat around the burnt parts. The box made a great umbrella.

This place is a local gem!! It's become a tradition to order on Wednesdays - the pasta and meatball day, because it's the meal I can serve at home that ALL of my family loves! According to my husband, the pasta and meatballs w/ red sauce taste like his Grandma Frances made it. (This is a HIGH compliment!) And the pizza... so delicious! We love the hot honey & pepperoni combo.

Staff is always friendly and I've never had to wait - food is fresh and ready when I pick up. Highly recommend!

We were welcomed and treated kindly. I personally didn’t love the pizza the crust was good but the great thing was I didn’t get a migraine from the pizza like I tend to and that means a lot to me. Atmosphere was cool but kind of loud but that’s ok.

As someone who loves pizza and has tried dozens of different places, this is up there with the best. Just might be THE BEST.

For the price of a large pepperoni I just expected so much more after seeing reviews. Everything about the pizza just was mediocre. The cheese was not spread evenly and was just a mess. There was too much sauce. The pepperoni tasted horrible. The crust was pretty good. Overall it's just sad so many people said this was the best pizza ever. There are far better local places. I'd rate this a 2 out of ten. I would leave a higher review but the price for that was way too high.

Edit: After a disrespectful response from the owner, I'll be sure to let others know this is how they choose to respond to people. I didn't have a good experience trying your food and I was honest about it. Your response was childish and lacked any effort, much like your pizza.

I sat at the bar to order to go. The bartender said it was a 1 hour 20 minutes to wait. I said no problem. I Ordered a drink and waited. Other people sat at the bar and ordered in, they received their food in 20 minutes while I still waited. This happened twice before I inquired about my order, which they said was still 20 minutes away. At this point I’ve purchased 3 drinks from their bar but did not get the same food time service. This is poor management on their part and unfortunately lost a LOCAL customer who lives near by. Figure out to run a restaurant and carry out at the same time. It’s not hard. Obviously I canceled my order. Disappointing and they knew about my order before I left and did nothing about it.

2 pizzas. One cheese. One hot honey pepperoni..barley any pepperoni on the pizza..like 2/3 pieces per slice...disappointing I heard soo much about how good it was ...I wont be back..

You typed out all of that for a response and you didn't even get the right person lol. I got take out dude, and the pizza was horrible lol. Maybe you should take a class in customer service and instead of placing blame you simply ask people "hey, what can we do better for next time?"

Also, I dunno who you're describing in your response, but it sounds like other people aren't fond of your place either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
