Fourth visit and Sushi Junki just keeps getting better. At first, the weekday limited menu surprised me but each presentation arrived exquisitely crafted with attention to detail. Don't mistake the prices because the plate arrives and you'll see a 2-piece sashimi order is actually 6 pieces nestled in two sets of 3 pieces. Everything was delicious—the yellowtail nigiri alone will have us back. Best of the night goes to our server Crystal, from Willamette Valley OR. She knows her wine and her recommendations for the night helped make our date night the great experience that it was.

The hostess took us to our table down stairs with a lot of broken glass - like an entire tray had just broken. Not sure why they didn't clean up before taking us through it to our table. After being seated we were given dishes that were visibly very dirty. Multiple empty tables around us that hadn't been cleared. Water bottle brought to table had mold around top ring seal. Waited quite some time before seeing our server that was wearing plastic gloves. After ordering drinks it probably took 15 min before receiving a glass of wine. At that point we decided we didn't feel comfortable ordering sushi from here and paid and went somewhere else.

We went to Sushi Junki twice this week. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. Great presentation. We loved the hot wash towels served at the table before dinner. Can't wait to go again soon.

I have not had really good sushi in a while and this place exceeded my expectations. I really appreciate that the sushi was not over the top with all the extras you see at some sushi restaurants. Simple well executed menu options. One of us in our party had the chicken fried rice and it was excellent. Dragon roll was the favorite at our table. The lobster and crab roll and rainbow roll were both excellent. Good atmosphere, clean, and very friendly staff with good service. We will be going back next time we're in Chagrin Falls.

We had dinner here before a play at Chagrin Valley Little Z theater. My husband and I took our grandson out because his college Theater Appreciation class required him to see a live play. Our dinner came quickly and we loved it! This had everything we needed— an informal and fun ambience, a menu that was varied but not overwhelming, excellent service, and delicious food. We will be back!

Denny was an excellent waitress! All those stairs?, but she graciously claimed them! Excellent food. Bento box was perfect, it was very drafty, chilly upstairs. Bring a sweater!

Walking around chagrin falls on a the chocolate crawl and came here. BEST sushi. BEST street noodles! We will definitely be back. The manager, bartenders Kayden and Crystal, WOW! Great service, great drink suggestions, great food. We are from an hour away and will most definitely be back for a date night❤️

Very disappointed with both food and service. Our server only came over once, while the owner delivered our food. The crab rangoons were good, but the sushi was not fresh and just didn't taste right. I had better quality sushi from the grocery store. Definitely not worth the $90 bill.

With superb service and a lovely atmosphere, Sushi Junki is a lovely addition to the Chagrin Falls scene! The basic salmon and tuna rolls my friend and I ordered were of middling quality (perhaps living in the tropics has spoiled me a bit when it comes to fresh fish) but the veggie roll with asparagus and pickled radish was INCREDIBLE. 10/10. I got their house mule cocktail, which was delightful, and my friend got some sort of cocktail which was delicious as well~ didn’t get pictures of this meal, we were so hungry we just dove right in. Nevertheless, would go back again just for more of that veggie roll!!

What a wonderful surprise. I had not heard about Sushi Junki until searching for a place for my birthday dinner. It was a wonderful night. Service was wonderful. Our waitress was very helpful and made some great suggestions. We had four rolls and had so much to take home. Everything tasted so fresh. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in on a Saturday night without reservations. We were seated at the bar and ordered dinner there. The bartender was awesome! No glass was left empty. We were very well attended to! The mixed drinks were amazing! I'm not a fish person but I will say I would have the raw tuna again without hesitation. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is lively! So if you are planning on going with more than two you might want to call ahead.

Kid-friendliness: The children there seemed to be having just as much of a good time as the adults.

Parking: Parking near where you you want to go in this city in particular is hit or miss. Plan on going for a stroll. Great place to walk around.

I enjoyed the Yellowtail and soy sauce. They're practically giving this sushi away. It's not cheap but it certainly isn't expensive. I'm going back soon that I can tell you and I'm not obsessed with eating out.

Soup and salad were very healthy portions and very good. Pad Tai was delicious as it was more saucy and less dry than other restaurants. The maki rolls were just OK. I've had better and there seemed to be an odd taste to the rice. Our server was in training and she was very pleasant. Overall experience was a nice dinner.

Exceptional meal and excellent service! Our experience was very positive, and we thought the food (especially the freshness and quality) was on point. I view the Sushi here as more of a fushion spin, meshing traditional Sushi with exploratory flavors and ingredients, which is great. I thought the Sushi quality was on par with some of the establishments I've visited (years ago) in the suburbs of Tokyo. Give it a shot. It's local. And, keep in mind that it's no easy task to run a restaurant these days. Be patient and try some of the unique menu items. Thanks!

While our server was very friendly, she was not very familiar with this type of cuisine and was vague when we mentioned a peanut allergy (that dish should be fine I don't think it has nuts in it) and didn't offer to tell the chef. Drinks were very slow and inconsistent (one was voluntarily removed from bill it looked so bad), potstickers were rubbery (used to be steamed and fried). Sushi itself was actually pretty good. Overall we were there for 2.5 hours. We then said one check which we would split 50/50. We received three versions of the bill, none of which was correct. Finally we walked downstairs to the register because what started as a leisurely dinner was now endangering our later commitments. In the end the check was split and one of us received a bill with a total of $0 and 1/2 the total dinner as a tip-with no tip line. So even if the server wasn't the best, I would never stiff her, but had no choice. What a mess. Been here a number of times since they opened and this shall be my last.
