The Reserve is my go-to whenever I come into town. The food and service are always exceptional. I’m a vegan and they always have wonderful vegan options. The food is delicious and the service fantastic. There’s a large parking lot behind the restaurant with free parking. I love the vibe as well and will continue to visit every time I’m in town.
Worth making a reservation as the space is quite small & intimate. Shared small plates and dessert: a chocolate pot au crème and a smoked bourbon crème brûlée. Both excellent. The cocktails can be hit or miss. While the Bitsy 75 was awesome, the orange mezcal Manhattan was just ok. Service was prompt and the space had great character.
A goodbye dinner at The Reserve was anticipated to be a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Too many flies in the ointment however made it only tolerable. The restaurant was unexpectedly smaller than we expected but, at first blush, thought it would still feel intimate, not cramped. However a rather awkwardly sized bench-like setting made it difficult to hear the conversation especially being right next to the bar. Two of us had specialty drinks that weren't so special:...
