Village Martini & Wine Bar

This is one of our 3 go-to restaurants in our area and they never disappoint! Last night we went with friends and had a great time. My duck wings were excellent as was the egg plant entree my friend had. What's not to like?

Got there a 7:00. Food arrived at 8:45. Salmon had tons of pepper on it...inedible. All together very bad experience.

Love the food and ambience of this restaurant. I did have a new nit-picks, which I provided to the restaurant, during my last meal, but overall, this restaurant has been an excellent go-to place for us.

I think it was because they were short staffed up front and in the kitchen. One of the meals was lukewarm and main courses took forever.

I am giving them 4 stars because I think they are just understaffed. Our waiter was handling tables outside and inside. Patio was full as well. This also led me to believe that the kitchen was understaffed. Our main dishes took a very long time. My pasta was delicious and hot but my dads fish and broccoli was lukewarm, probably because it was done first and should have just been delivered as it was ready instead of waiting for all 4 dishes at the table to be ready. Everyone on staff was really nice and the ambiance / bar is nice as well.

Loved the entire event form walking in the front door to hanging out on the patio. Amazing food and great atmosphere.

My last experience there made me again wonder what it is about people who work in the service industry that don't understand that it is the “service industry“. They had a pretty full patio when we were there, and it seemed like the people that were waiting on tables. There were almost irritated working there. I thought well maybe it's just me, but my date also said the same thing before I even mentioned anything about it! Been here before, always enjoy their food. It's very good, but I was definitely scratching my head the last couple times that I went there with their overall attitude.

I always love Chagrin Martini and Wine Bar in the warm weather when it's pleasant to sit outside. Inside is nice but is dark. Summer months are great and I love the patio. The food is always great.

Saw the owner/manager come out and yell at a table of four elderly people for asking about their food after waiting almost two hours. I am pretty sure there are better ways to problem solve this situation. There is never a good reason to treat a customer this way.

management was nasty. Took 1 hour and 50 minutes to get our food.people who came in after us had eaten and left at least 30 minutes before our food was served, Never go again and recommend to others not to go
