Sadly, this establishment didn't measure up to the reviews. The seeds in the Brussel sprout salad were terribly rancid although the chicken salad was good. Won't be going back.

This is like an extension of home with someone else treating us to a great cup of coffee and something fresh to eat!! Great atmosphere. The staff is young, but really kind and helpful!

Wow, what a gem! I had heard about this place for a while but had never gone until last weekend. There were probably about 20 or so tables and people were in and out a decent amount, so there wasn't trouble finding a spot.Nice big parking lot!Friendly service and everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful.Holy SCHMOLY though, the highlight of the trip were our lattes (I had mine with oat milk and it was AMAZING) and the Golden Veggie Bowl blew me away. I knew it'd be tasty but didn't expect it to be so good I'd crave it the very next day! Amazing!!!They have a variety of chocolate items for purchase, all of which looked delicious! The second they have a vegan dessert option I will take a vacation day! :) Buckeye Chocolate Cafe is a big recommendation from me!Vegetarian options: Large menu and clearly labeled options!Parking: Large parking area

I was driving through Chardon, Ohio and really wanted a good coffee. Then I spotted a business sign that read “The Buckeye Chocolate Cafè. Wait…. Coffee & Chocolate?!?!?! This place sounded amazing awesome, I must investigate! So I pulled in the ample parking lot & when in. When I walked in I was greeted by the amazing smell of coffee. I immediately noticed the shelves stocked with a nice selection of chocolates & treats to purchase. I made my way to the counter and was surprised to find an entire case of delectable chocolates. You could purchase a few pieces, half pound or 1 pound. I knew I’d return after my coffee to purchase from this case. I selected a cappuccino with a chocolate flavor, the Turkey club & the big chocolate chip cookie. I then went and selected my table. Your seating options are table only, I found the table and chair very comfortable. The cappuccino was delicious, a very nice flavor & hot. My Turkey club didn’t disappoint, the turkey was fresh, the bread was toasted & it had avocado on it. Last but not least the chocolate chip cookie, a nice treat to finish my meal on. I then went back up to the counter and picked up a few half pound bags of treats for the week. I truly enjoyed this coffee shop/cafè. It had everything that I really enjoyed. If you love good coffee & chocolate treats/ candy, you simply must visit this place.

This is a frequent breakfast stop for a healthy (and delicious) alternative to McDonald's or (the massive money-sucking) Starbucks. We always favor LOCAL businesses!!! Their dark chocolate is the best. Sincerely.

I loved the butternut squash salad that they had on the menu a year and a half ago. When the menu changed, I switched over to the thai peanut salad. The dressings for both those salads were great. Now the menu recently changed again and this time, there is nothing on the menu I like. I tried the new vegetable salad: it lacked flavor, and the dressing was not good. I will have to stay away until they change their menu again. The good thing is, the same drinks I used to get are still around.
