I will start by saying I like this place . Their food is good and so are their drinks. The only bad part is the smell. The whose place smells like a port o potty. There is something wrong with their septic. Tuesday is the best price for drinks. Their shrimp tacos are good. Plus chips and salsa. All other nights seem expensive plus the smell..
Had dinner with large group of family- everyone had a terrific meal- chicken pot pie, pulled pork mac n cheese, jambalaya, burgers. Also ask about their homemade hot sauces- fantastic flavor, great heat with some smokey flavor to boot. We bought an 8 ounce container for $5 to go. Great service as well with a bigger room upstairs which is almost like a private room for larger groups up to maybe 20 people. The dining areas look great too- look recently renovated. A nice place to eat close to home. I wish they had a chip dip for their tavern chips. They push the chips with all their burgers and sandwiches. It would be a nice touch to have an in house french onion dip they could upcharge for. Food is tasty. The appetizer was a bit pricey and the portion was a bit small. These minor things will not prevent me from returning.
