El Patron Mexican Grill & Cantina

First, they brought out chips that were brown two baskets of them. We asked if they had different chips and we were told no that’s what they had but saw other peoples chips and they were not brown. The food was mediocre at best. The server was rude. My meal was wrong . Was not even what the description of it said I would’ve kept my meal and picked around the things I didn’t like, but the waiter was so rude That I said, I don’t want this so he took it away and I didn’t eat anything. Others at my table did not like their food either And it was their first time there.

Had a wonderful dinner excellent flavor on the meal nice menu choices . Chips were great salsa very good flavor Restaurant was comfortable clean and they made you feel welcome both menu items we had were very enjoyable if you’re interested in Mexican cuisine with great flavor and reasonable prices I highly recommend you drive to Chardon and enjoy.

Great food, nice atmosphere. Hard working people going as fast as they can. Only minor issue is that it seemed a little understaffed, although it was a Sunday and Father’s Day. Similar to the Mexican restaurants out in Mayfield Heights but without needing to drive that far. Will be returning.

Not the first time I've been here or ordered this. Usually i love this place and enhoy all my food. First time it was gross and they wanted to argue with me about it..you can decide. .no thank you too the greasey tasteless mess of hard cheese i was served.

Service is always fast. The people are nice and friendly. Food is consistent and good, but could use a little more flavor.

I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurant and honestly, it wasn’t terrible but Rice is bland and some of the food is lacking some flavor. It’s a little pricey for Mexican food but Los Venados in orwell is better.

I am a big El Patron fan and have been since they first opened in Chardon. However, I was disappointed that my entree, wet burritos, had changed to being very boring flavored on my last visit. I am not sure if they changed recipes or chefs but it was not El Patron's usual quality and the rice was flavorless. I am sad to say I really didn't like it at all. The chips and salsa were spot on though. I am not sure if I will return or not. I am hoping it was just an off day for them because they were my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant but way to dark. My mother had a very hard time reading the menu.

Good food at a good price. Service is fast and friendly
