Hayashi mayple Japanese restaurant

The food was delicious with large portions. The service staff we're all very friendly, prompt & helpful.

This is the best sushi you can find in Geauga county. I’ve been going here for years and the quality is very consistent.

I went recently on a Saturday night. The service was kind of slow, but not terrible.

My second cup of water that came out tasted terrible. I told the server, and she apologized and said something about how they get their water out of the lemonade machine or something. She proceeded to bring me back a better tasting glass. Kind of weird, but I’m not picky.

In summary, great food overall, and a good atmosphere, especially for Geauga county. I will be coming back, as I have been for years.

They need to update their Google hours, I drove the half hour away just to see different hours posted on the door.

Food is always fantastic, and I’ve loved the times I’ve stopped by for takeout! The Angel roll has been my favorite so far!

Got a take out order for chicken teriyaki and the hibachi combo of steak and chicken also received the cheap salads (pathetic)and literal beef broth named onion soup. This place is fairly expensive and their food is mediocre at best.I've eaten here a couple other times and it was way better than this time.This time, it was not good at all. The teriyaki was watered down and they burned the vegetables in the hibachi. For the price, it is not worth it in my opinion. I don't believe I'll be returning after this last time. Also the restaurant smelled bad not like good food but moldy or something.

Rolls are super tiny. Overpriced. Spent over 100 dollars to get 8 rolls. Was barely enough to feed 2 people. Rolls were jammed into boxes and were falling apart. Barely any fish in the rolls. Mostly rice. Better off getting giant Eagle sushi. Will never come back.

I cannot say enough good things about Hayashi Mayple! The food is FABULOUS and they get it to you SO quickly! The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient! I'm SHOCKED it's not packed all the time. I'm not a big sushi person but there are plenty of other options on their menu. Steak is always cooked to perfection. Give it a try!

The food is out of this world. So authentic

It’s somewhat of a holiday tradition now for the fam to come here for Christmas Eve dinner. Always wonderful service and great food. Extremely reasonable, I think, for what you get. There’s a cute bar and the atmosphere is serene and comfy!

Delicious sushi, served in an understated diner type restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive. Priced typically for sushi. Great variety of specialty sushi rolls.
The calamari appetizer was delicious but a bit too small a portion to share.
