We have been here so many times before, but unfortunately this was the worse experience we have had here. The owner/ manager was rude to the girls working. There was 2 girls working really hard and it felt like the owner decided to have a staff meeting in the middle of the rush. Also, they have taken a lot of things off the menu we came specifically for. My food was greasy. The waitress was very sweet, felt overwhelmed, and was crying because someone took $100 from her when it fell out of her pocket. It's unfortunate, because we always liked it here, but won't be coming back. Not the best experience.

Disappointing that there was no brisket when we came. We don't live close so that was sad. What we had was delicious, but drove 25 minutes to get brisket...đ

We were so looking forward to having a nice night of barbecue for my grandsons birthday. We got there at our reserved time and seated and told that brisket would not be available for another hour. We were also told that they were out of burnt ends, we were disappointed but then we were told that they were out of pulled pork. I mean what's left. We were dissatisfied also with the server who came off as not really knowing how to use the equipment to take our âorderâ so we left. Also I am an amputee and was also surprised that you are not handicapped friendly. The isles are so close together that it was very hard to maneuver to my seat. Overall it was a horrible experience and not sure will ever attempt a visit to your establishment again.

Oak & Embers is a Chesterland staple for a quality dining experience. The authentic barbecue is mouth watering, while the staff is attentive, hospitable, and accommodating to dietary needs. If you are looking for an event space they have a community room for private parties + a beautiful patio. P.s. you would not be disappointed with James as your server & a special visit by the owner, Gina, herself!

From the servers to the food, it was phenomenal. Burnt ends were perfect. Mac and cheese chicken bowl was amazing. I cant believe there's not a line out the door every day! Will be coming back
This is my first time having to write this type of review. It is a mixed review. There were 3 people in our party. The entrance sign when we walked in said happy hour drinks and appetizers were 1/2 price from 3-6. We arrived about 5:30 pm. I asked the waitress about this before we ordered and she said yes the drinks were 1/2 price. Not true at all. Drinks were discounted not 1/2 price. We did not get an appetizer. We ordered onion rings which is a side dish. First person ordered the salmon with green beans and it was great. Perfectly cook and delicious. Second person ordered the meatloaf and it came out burnt and had to be sent back. Second round of meatloaf was good. Third Person ordered the 6oz fillet and they sent out a 10oz steak in its place. Not what was ordered. Talked to the manager and she said that we were making out in the deal because we got a 10oz steak instead of the 6oz fillet. Not true at all. Two very different cuts of meat. But she would discount the meal. And apologized. Third person doesnât like steak so didnât even eat it. Meal is over and we get the bill and low and behold, the discount was only 1/2 price for the wrong meal made by the cook and the drinks were full price. Had to call the manger out again to discuss this. She said that they were in process of redoing the menu and they were not going to carry the fillets anymore so they were out of them. They were also out of ribs. How can this be? That is your specialty and youâre out in a Friday night at 5:30pm? She offered to replace his meal when we were trying to leave? Way too late. Maybe she should have offered that in the beginning. Why did our waitress not came back out when we ordered and said that they were out of the fillets and he would have ordered something else? This is just uncalled for and unacceptable. We will never eat here again. Please beware!!!

We had great food and wonderful service. The shrimp tacos and pulled pork bbq flatbread pizza (both on the appetizer menu) were generous and done just right â proteins were juicy and tender. We also split a Maria salad generously topped with smoked chicken. We teamed up dinner with Thirsty Dog Irish setter ale. Prices were reasonable and portions generous. We left with a few doggie bags to enjoy tomorrow, but we will be going back for sure.
