Bamboo House Restaurant

Very nice buffet with lots to choose from. Everything was hot and tasted good! The staff was nice. Needs an update though.

Food must be shipped in from China....that's about how long it took to get it. By the time you get your food, you already have a bitter taste in your mouth because of the long ,long wait. Owner could care less.

Everyone's heard of the Chinese old wives tale that Chinese restaurants secretly substituting the chicken for something other than actual chicken.. So when I order I make sure I steer clear of the meat, just incase. Except for Bamboo House restaurant in Circleville, Ohio. When I was 18 yrs old, I waitressed there, so I got to see behind closed doors, 1 day the health inspector surprised us. They received great reviews & got an A! So I tell everyone I know that Bamboo House is not only a delicious Chinese restaurant but also clean & safe, just the way I like it! Few complain about the prices, but my opinion is that the prices are 100% reasonable for the portion amount given for each dish, & it's absolutely delicious! I soo recommend this restaurant to whomever loves good Chinese food!!

Ok. Typical strip mall Chinese. My wife ordered Phad Thai. A bit too much tamarind for her taste. She asked for some extra peanut to sprinkle on the top. I was quite annoyed when we got charged $3 for maybe an ounce of peanuts. Ok but we weren't impressed.

Owner very sweet and always makes sure you have everything you need. Been years since I have dined there and food was fabulous as always.

Delicious food and the friendliest service! This was probably the best Pad Thai I have ever had. Wonton soup and egg rolls were also great.

Food was good but the rest of the experience was AWFUL!The waitress is clearly on drugs and was most definitely high as a kite! She didn't keep her facemask on once! She was coughing her head off and sneezing. Then touching our plates. She got the order wrong. The food took forever. And she would disappear over and over. Absolutely terrible. Definitely feeling very unsanitary! During covid time, I definitely expected and hoped for more. I would never recommend this place, to anyone!

I worked here when I was a teenager, & I know what goes on behind the kitchen doors. Not only is the food delicious, it's kept & prepared better than health inspection code policies. This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant I completely trust to eat at. I love Young & Tess, & hope they ALWAYS stay in business, forever!& the review from Mr.Smith below, the prices aren't scary high, especially how much u get, plus the food is worth the non-high price. Dinner time Chicken Fried Rice, Lo Mei Noodles, 2 Lg bags of crispy noodles & 2 side orders of brown sauce is always my order & it feeds 3 people for only like $18. & its 100% worth it.

1st time here and not worth what they charge. small small portions and not very good. friendly lady but not worth the high price. you'd swear after the bill that you'd just ate at a 5 star gourmet restaurant that just switched management and got hit with health code violations, no but seriously. the buffet on the south end is much cheaper and better tasting food for a fraction of the cost. i gave my dog what was left after 3 bites. gross. reading some of these reviews can tell a person that these people have never ate at a decent Chinese restaurant before. Try Hunan House in Columbus and you want an egg roll that will blow your mind, try china king on 3c highway and mound. they make them homemade daily and much bigger than this place and cheaper! This place should be fined for highway robbery!
