This is a favorite place for our extended family to meet and visit while enjoying delicious food. The menu has so many selections and everything is good. It's home style cooking and a very friendly place to go to.
I was expecting more after reading reviews. But the ground chuck steak was dry, the seafood dinner was greasy, and I saw some others leaving more food on their plates than was eaten. Maybe if I had chosen something different I would have had a more positive experience.

Poor, poor version of a side salad. 4 bites at best. Country fried steak consistencies vary. Not real mashed potatoes and bland gravy. Been here a bunch, quality keeps going down, down, down.....just like circleville.

A nice place to get comfort food. It's a pretty typical small town family restaurant with a nice menu of down home favorites in a simple but comfortable setting. We had the broasted chicken dinner. It was good, crispy breading, tender juicy chicken. I would have liked a bit more seasoning, but it was still delicious. We were there on Sunday and it was quite busy, but they got us seated quickly and the service was prompt and friendly. Goodwin's is well worth a visit when you are in Circleville.

I met people for a book club, it was nice. Coffee was hot, and fresh; salads good, and eggs great. Great place for some comfort food. I've only been there for breakfast and lunch, but only good food, and service. Worth stopping by, if you haven't been there for a few years.
