Richie's New York Corner Deli

RIDICULOUS how GOOD the food is! I had the buffalo special sub and it did not disappoint! And the cannolis...chef's kiss! The owner, Richie, greeted his regulars by name. HIGHLY recommend! We'll be back!

How can I describe your meatball sub? You know the movie tenacious d and the pick of destiny? How the announcer walks out on stage and says "I effing love this band. They are the best band, period!" That's how I feel about this meatball sub. Sorry to my Italian momma but...... Richie's is better.

This guy makes great sandwiches, and he has a passion for plants. If you go in here you'll see what I mean, and if you ask him about his plans he will absolutely talk to you about them. He's very friendly. I think this will be a regular place for me when I'm in circleville for lunch.

My brothers and I ate there almost all last week and it was delicious! We tried different sandwiches and a salad. He is very fast on making the orders! Very friendly as well! Highly recommend and would gladly dine again when I'm back in town!!

Parking: They do not own the parking lot, it's street parking only. Plenty of spots though!!

Food is decent when they are actually open. Once again, not opened till posted hours, like always.... and of course nobody answers if you call. We give up. Have only been able to actually eat here 1 time in the last 4 visits. Never opened to accept our business.

Nope standing in front of store again, no signage up from you, no answer on your phone number, I'm so sorry I don't follow your stupid social blah blah crap..just over it, once again. We won't try again!

Very Celiac friendly! This place came highly recommended and it’s no surprise why. They were very knowledgeable about gluten free foods but the staff knew everyone which was such a fun experience.

Highly recommend. Great pastries.

Sandwich has explosive taste, from the feta cheese crumbles to the zesty Buffalo dressing. I added additional toppings and got a side of olive salad. First timer and would definitely order again.

I made a delivery here and the guy that came out to sign was nice and polite. After loading up and packing up the truck I decided i should prolly go inside and get something to eat. After waiting about 3 min the same guy that helped me with my delivery was the same guy from behind the counter. He asked if I could move the truck the owner will be here in a few min and I’m blocking the parking lot. So I went to the truck without any food and just left. Kinda rude my trucks okay for a delivery but not for a few minutes to grab a sub and go. They lost first time customer for life. I’m in Circleville everyday and will always choose other businesses for lunch.

Food is amazing if you can find them open. I don’t live near there but often visit family who does and no matter when I go (during the hours stated on the sign) they are N E V E R open. Went just yesterday when they were supposed to be open until 7 at 4:30 and a hand written note “reminder we are closed at 3 today”. Highly disappointed. I don’t think I’ll even try to go back just because, like I said, each time I do they are always closed. Not sure how they even make enough to stay afloat.

Real New York Reuben, real NY Richie! We ordered 2 Reuben’s to go. Before leaving and eating what proved authentically satisfyingly delish, we chatted it up with the owner and staff. He surprised up with his cannolis, cheerful stories and more. Happy to say, this corner deli hit my mark for a sandwich I’d come back for. Thank you for lunch today!

We stopped during the pumpkin show and we will come back. The vegetarian Reuben was awesome and my husband said the Brooklyn classic was one of the best sandwiches he’s had!
