We are Cleveland Heights natives and this is one of our regular stops in the neighborhood. Surprised I have never reviewed it before today. It is always a good experience. The burgers are fresh juicy and flavorful. The pizzas are well prepared (that candied bacon 😋 ) Their brews are up there with some of the best in CLE. The service is normally great, today was a little off, but it was not the fault of our server.
We normally come in just us 2, but today we had a party of 15, there was also a baby shower going on along with a few pockets of just regular tables. Our server had no help, which is not her fault. Staffing can make or break a visit and a review. Since our past experiences have always been great, we will chalk this one up to an unwise staffing decision. I'm confident that it won't happen again
P.S. when multiple people order the same dish (fish & chips) there should be consistency in the appearance and SIZE of the fish. ,

Just left Boss Dog Brewery. Awesome food, great service and amazing beers!! Highly recommend
Had a great burger here. Short rib burger. Cooked medium rare. Hamburger was seasoned perfectly. And the toppings were perfect. If you crave a good burger this is the spot.

Incredible experience. The house-brewed beers are outstanding, with a wide variety to suit every taste. Definitely a spot I’ll be going back to!

I ordered plain boneless wings, and they were okay. The flavor was fine, but they weren’t as warm as I would’ve liked. They were a little warm, but not hot enough to make them feel freshly prepared. Overall, decent wings, but could use a bit more attention to temperature.

I have been to Boss Dog many times since they opened. The first few years it was amazing. The food, the beer, the service, everything was good. However, recently every time I visit it seems like more and more goes wrong. They are consistently out of menu items, and service errors happen consistently. Not sure if it is lack of training or management issues. I loved this place and really want it to survive, but there is a huge difference in quality, service, and overall atmosphere since they opened. It seems like they are simply trying to survive and hang on by a thread until the apartments under construction around them open up. Come on, Boss Dog, get back to old form!
The food tastes how the place looks & the vibes are exactly like how they treat their employees ??

Had a flight of 8 beers. 2 very good ones, 5 good, one not so good. Tried a few appetizers and the pierogies; liked them all.
PS. A few years and more trips to Boss Dog later: I would put Punch Out among the best double IPAs I've had.
The carne asada sandwich was really good!

It's a good place. I feel it's a little overpriced for what you are getting. The onion rings were pretty good, they are beer battered. The fries were basic. I really liked the crispiness of the chicken sandwich I got.

We had to wait 1.5 hours to get our food. When it came out, the mushrooms were soft and the fish fry was not crisp. What has happened to my favorite restuarant. Is it under new management? or are wednesdays a bad day to come.

Came here late Sunday morning for lunch and beers. The experience exceeded my expectations.
To get here, you turn onto a side street which takes you to an alley which takes you to a small outdoor parking lot and a large parking garage. The parking is free in the lot and garage. Lots of parking!
The brewery has a large, clean, nicely laid out patio with lots of tables, a bar and a couple of TVs. It is awesome!
Inside the place is modern industrial, spacious up and around, clean, eye pleasing and comfortable. Lots of tables and lots of seats at the bar.
I was greeted by Pedro, a very friendly, welcoming, dude who knows the beers, the food menu and the neighborhood very well. I was also greeted by Bridget, also very friendly, welcoming and knows the beer and food menus very well. They accommodated me very well, provided prompt service, and went over and beyond good service. Great folks who do great work!
I got two beer flights, four beers each. They had three barrel aged stouts, a Chardonnay barrel aged Belgian Tripel, and several IPAs and hazy IPAs. All of their beers are bold, made well, delicious of course and never boring. I cannot wait to come back and try more of their beers! Amazing is an understatement.
For lunch I had the Jobu Burger. Large burger patty cooked well and juicy, cheddar cheese, candied bacon, BBQ sauce and Jalapeno pepper slices. Big, bold, tons of good flavor, filling and a little messy. Don’t worry it was worth it, and Bridget got me some moist towelettes to clean my BBQ sauce covered fingers. Other burger places have NOTHING on the Jobu Burger let me tell you! I got a side of fries with the Jobu for a few more bucks- crusty outside, tender inside, cooked perfectly. Chef Gordon Ramsey would be blown away!
The men’s bathroom was clean and also modern industrial.
The only thing I did not like? When I had to leave. Seriously. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Pedro, Bridget and staff for an awesome experience!
Parking: Plenty of free parking though hard to find. There is a small parking lot behind the brewery. There is also a large parking garage which is free to use.
