A place with a great atmosphere. The stage does not have much elevation, so it can be difficult to get a good view. However, the shows are really enjoyable.
Legendary spot. Most of the times I've been here the sound is really good, and the staff are all great!

Hard to believe I've been going here for twenty years. If a band you like is playing here, you have to go.
Grog Shop is always a local fave spot to go see bands. The most recent show was STARSET last night for an AE VIP show they were having. The space and close proximity to the stage at The Grog Shop make shows more intimate and enjoyable.

First time going there, went to see Ally the Piper. Great, fun concert, loved the night out! However, personally can't give it 5 stars because it is basically a bar with a big dance floor area and then a slightly raised stage. I am old and also have medical reasons that keep me from standing, so we grabbed seats at the bar and watched the best we could. You can see in the pics that you can't really see the stage unless you are in the first 2, maybe 3 rows of people in front of the stage. I know this sounds like the grumpy, get off my lawn old man rant but wanted to warn others so they know what they are getting into. PS - the bartenders were great, very friendly and nice to talk to!
