As far as I can tell this is not a restaurant, but a caterer. Don't come thinking it serves food, even though it looks exactly like a diner.

Can't say I've ever eaten at Katz Diner but I will say that I recently found myself in a pickle and had make a quick stop. I requested to use their lavatory (emergency) and was turned away because they were hosting a private party that I was not invited to. I thought it was a rather Insensitive for the staff to turn me away in what was clearly an emergency situation. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that I looked nothing like those attending the private party (darker complexity). You tell me. Wasnt looking to crash the party just wanted to use the facilities. Must have been whites only bathrooms.

Great experience. Wait staff was perfect, food was fantastic, good attention to coffee (single-origin pour overs available, but bottomless drip if you don't otherwise care), reasonable prices. If I didn't live 280 miles away, is be here all the time.

I have not been to the diner side of the Katz Club but I have been to the side car. The decor is awesome and the drinks are good, but the bartenders are HORRIBLE! I would save your money and go somewhere else for drinks. You will be ignored and talked to with a smug attidue by one of the bartenders if you go here. I will never return again.

Awesome food and atmosphere in rail cars! The bar car is very speak easy in decor. Delicious coffee, tea, and pastries at great prices as well.
