Great spot for a drink or two

I came here with my husband to enjoy some cocktails and a charcuterie board. The atmosphere was okay, though the art is a little tacky.
The service was friendly but the gin martini was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The bartender added tons of crushed ice to the tumbler which really watered it down, and then only poured about 2/3 of the drink into the glass, leaving the rest in the tumbler with melting ice. When my martini was nearly finished, the bartender swooped back in to add the remainder of the tumbler to my glass, watering it down even further. I was so astonished I didn’t even know what to say. The stainless steel martini glasses are not nice to drink from, either- ugly, uncomfortable, and bad tasting.

The charcuterie board was also disappointing, with sticks of orange cheddar, a little salami, dried apricots, and jarred green olives. Each component was the most basic supermarket version, very uninspiring and very overpriced at $25.

Love this spot. Staff are so professional and knowledgeable about the liquor. Place is clean and trendy. Their French 75 is amazing. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! My fiancée and I were walking by, saw the open door, and decided to pop in. We ended up spending our entire afternoon and evening here talking with the owner and having plenty of new and delicious drinks. Reasonably priced, great atmosphere, excellent whiskey selection, and a superb owner!

What a beautiful bar! We were visiting Cleveland and stumbled upon this place. We had the best service. Cassie and Anita were so welcoming and knowledgeable.
The drinks were amazing and the whiskey selection was impressive.
We will definitely check it out every time we visit Cleveland... next time to eat.

This is a cozy, intimate bar with a bartender who knows exactly what they're doing. It's a Coventry classic! I'd say it's a must-visit spot.

Wish I could give zero stars. Was so excited to enjoy a night of drinks with friends after having a handful of good experiences here and was thoroughly disappointed and offended by the bartender’s (assuming the owner) attitude towards our table. He very rudely accused our friend of throwing up on the stairs which she had not even one sip of her drink, was not drunk/rowdy, and surely did not throw up. Of the other patrons at this location, he proceeded to single us out and kick our friend out without a second of reasoning. Had he approached the situation with candor and checked the so called “tapes,” he may have seen that we were not the only people in the establishment and would have never acted with the lack of decorum he accused us of. We paid for our drinks and left. If you can avoid the negativity of this place, please take your well-earned money elsewhere. Extremely disappointed and offended. Do not come here. 0/5

We had a reunion at the Whiskey Bar on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Jer’me Franklin life long friend was our contact for the reunion. We had the basement space for our reunion which was warm and cozy but provided enough space for everyone to visit and catch up. If you are looking for an eclectic unique space with warm decor, expansive drink menu and friendly attentive staff, I would recommend the Whisky Bar.
