A friend and myself enjoyed a delicious, nutritious and very affordable lunch at The Buckeye Restaurant on Wednesday, 2/2/22. The atmosphere was perfect, warm, comfortable and inviting. The host was friendly, attentive and very appreciative that we chose Buckeye. The food was delivered quickly and was hot and oh so good! I have paid more at local fast food establishments than what I paid at Buckeye and, if you know me, I am all about healthy food and that is what Buckeye offered. Great selection of home cooked meals at a very reasonable price, delicious and nutritious. I will be back and I recommend you try it too! You'll be glad you did!

We stayed at the Buckeye for five days over Christmas and truly loved it. It was one of the most special places I’ve ever stayed at. Doug, the owner, is a truly incredible man and takes care of his guests. The suite itself is so beautiful and comfortable - we didn’t want to leave the room! Also, the restaurant serves amazing food that we enjoyed a couple of times. I’ll definitely be staying here again when we come to visit family in the area!

The food is excellent and a very good price for the amounts you get. The atmosphere is very relaxing and makes you feel like you are at home. The homemade pies are delicious. Great service if you are dining in or just picking a carryout or just grabbing ice cream. I rate the place a 10.

Five stars all the way, even with a short staff (meaning a longer wait time for food), I'd go back again tonight! The food was that good! Our party had the Cobb salad, the Bobbie salad, spaghetti and meatballs, veggie wrap, and grilled cheese. Everyone ate everything and not a single complaint! So many menu items I want to try. I'll go back every time I'm in the area!

Met clients from Sandusky, Tiffin, and Fremont because it was centrally located. Food was fantastic, very friendly servers, but what I loved the most was the atmosphere. Very comfortable, restored home that someone breathed new life into. This is my new favorite restaurant.

I have been to this place on two separate occasions. The first visit several weeks ago when we ordered scalloped potatoes and ham. It was truly not what I was expecting for this meal. After the meal she ordered a piece of rhubarb pie to go. It had very little filling and the rhubarb was like eating gummy bears. This week we went again and invited a friend. She ordered the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. She was impressed with her food even though it was not very warm. The other two of us ordered homemade beef stroganoff. These meals came out of the kitchen cold and had to be returned to be heated up. it also looked as if someone cooked noodles and poured gravy and chunks of beef over it. Didn't impress me as being homemade. The asparagus we all ordered was wonderful. This is not a place I believe I want to ever frequent again.

We stopped in for lunch and the food was great, portions were good . Staff were really good. I liked the fact they support local and have restored a home. It is definitely a place we will be going back to. Great experience. We highly recommend.

If you're contemplating going to this place for either something to eat or a place to stay, put down the phone and head on over!!!!! This is the nicest place in the area and on top of a beautiful facility, the have the absolute best staff, quality food with generous portions, all at extremely reasonable prices. The history of the house is worth the visit and the way it was restored is just as impressive. You'll walk away from this business being glad you visited and you'll most likely be thinking of planning your return trip before you leave. Whether you are looking for some quality food, a great night stay, or Clyde Ohio history, you are sure to not be disappointed by this choice. I can't wait to return.

I'm so glad I tried this place! Great food, wonderful service, delightful setting and very reasonable prices - what's not to love? I had one of their creatively named salads with generous portions of greens, chicken and fruit. The dressing that came with it is probably the best I've ever had. Choosing what to get was a challenge because it all looked so good. I liked lunch so much that I'm going out of my way to try breakfast in the morning. Definitely worth a detour.

We had the lunch buffet it was great. Something light had soups Mac and cheese, pasta salad, 2 different kinds of lettuce salad 1 with fruit and chicken and nuts the other was the usual vegetables pulled pork or tuna sandwiches with heaps of meat on whichever one you wanted plus there was a wrap with lettuce and some other vegetables and potato salad. The house is just beautiful in side and out.. I recommend here plus we will be going back in the future.
