I stopped at The Twist yesterday for the first time since the new owners have taken over. I grew up in Clyde and the Twistee Treat was a hometown favorite. I remember how extensive the food menu was and we went for dinner only to find that only food items offered were hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches. The original Twistee Treat had the best mozzarella sticks!

Out for a ride with friends and stopped on a hot day for shade and ice cream. Fantastic ???
The place looked closed so I would suggest to owner to put a flag or an open BIG sign out front .

I’ve always wanted to get ice cream here since it’s shaped like an ice cream cone on the side of the highway. Turns out, it was the best ice cream I’ve had all summer! I had a hot fudge sundae with sprinkle krunch kote and they did not disappoint! There was lots of hot fudge and sprinkles all the way to the bottom!
