My goodness, everything here is made with so much care. The grilled cheese sandwiches are unique and delicious, and the iced tea had real fruit in it. The restaurant is tucked into the back of the antique store which is also worth a stop!

Carla's is located in the back of a vintage shop and the atmosphere is delightful. The food was good and the bacon crisp, just like I like it. The cubanella scramble is a good choice, as is the standard breakfast and French toast. Parking is available and plentiful in an off-street lot nearby. Definitely worth the drive before heading to Rogers flea market.

This is a unique breakfast cafe nestled inside of an antique store. Their waitresses are friendly and their French toast is amazing! I always stop in the store after breakfast to buy gifts.
Cutest joint in Columbiana! We absolutely loved the food and service! We felt like family here. It gets pretty loud, but I assume it's because people feel at home and are relaxed! I would give 100 stars if I could. I highly recommend this place!

Terrible experience this Mother’s Day morning at Carla’s.
My elderly mother and stepfather are weekly regulars at Carla’s and have supported the restaurant since it first opened. This year, Mom wanted to celebrate Mother’s Day breakfast there. My mom and stepdad arrived early to secure a table for our party of eight. However, Carla’s staff informed them they couldn’t be seated until everyone in our group arrived.
After about 12 minutes, seven of us had arrived, but the eighth was delayed due to an emergency. The restaurant was not busy, with many tables and booths available. My mother suffers from degenerative osteoarthritis and has difficulty standing for long periods. She, along with the rest of our party, pleaded with the staff to allow her to sit at the long table in the rear or at least in a chair while we waited.
Despite our requests, the staff refused to allow my 87-year-old mother to sit, insisting we had to wait until the last person arrived. There was no compassion or understanding of her pain and physical limitations. Even though we had one person missing, we still needed a larger table for seven, so it wasn’t a matter of needing the full group to be seated.
The discomfort and suffering my mother had to endure while waiting was completely unacceptable. We made it clear to the staff that we would never return because of the egregious way they treated my mom. If Carla’s cannot show kindness and empathy, especially on Mother’s Day, they should reconsider being open for it.
