Sweet & Savory Shanty did the wedding cake and deserts for our wedding at SoSerene. They did an absolutely amazing job and we would recommend them to everyone!! She met with us before the wedding to do a tasting and game plan with my wife and I to help form our exact vision. We really appreciated this as it gave us confidence that our vision would be created, which it was! She gave her own insights about what she’s experienced with other wedding cakes and that contributed to our final decisions. She had an extremely reasonable rate for the cake, deserts, delivery, and she even added our own personal decorations to the cake for us when she arrived. Her communication was spectacular all throughout the process and she delivered right on time for our perfect day!

This place took our deposit and made us reservations for our wedding. 3 weeks prior, they will not answer for phone calls and has made no effort to return calls. This place is a scam and highly recommend going somewhere else. It’s one thing to cancel and it’s another to take money and attempt to screw over someone’s wedding. Terrible people.Continued. The other company we reached out to has said they have took several of your clients. There were 4 separate people trying to get ahold of you. I have screen shots of call logs and everything else. Please do not lie on the internet to try and save yourself. A simple apology and reimbursement of our deposit would’ve been enough to take this down but I will leave this here. Do not lie. Especially to a family who is largely involved in volunteer fire and EMS. It was never about the money, it’s the simple poor business.

Of course at Otterbein Cridersville we had to celebrate World Otter Day but I couldn’t find anyone to make an Otter cookie. I was recommended to try your bakery and I am SO glad I did! Not only did we have the cutest Otter cookies but they were delicious!!! Often you don’t get both with a cutout cookie! HIGHLY recommended this bakery!!

I ordered a sweet 16 cake two weeks in advance told them I need it by afternoon on a Friday by 4:30 cake wasn't done. Had to wait 20 mins. Got the cake found out by my daughter she ordered pink and white only it had purple, pink and white she doesn't like purple. Didn't do good at all on the decorations. Will not be back could of done better myself and I have a very disappointed girl. Plus paid 48 for a cake that wasn't she or I wanted
I went with this place last second as other places hadn't gotten back to me or had to cancel my order due to over booking. She was avail and accepted my order quickly. All transactions were conveniently done through email and phone for me as I was very busy and at times needed to just send a quick message. She was kind and polite and patient with me as we figured out details of the cake. (But I expect that out of any person working for your business. It's just refreshing She was at business level bc not everyone is) but what got her 5 stars was the quality of the cakes. I got photos from the internet of cakes I thought were pretty (1 was a three tier Disney princess theme! The other a super hero cake) both elaborate cakes and I was a bit scared how it'd turn out being an unknown confectioner. However, she made them look identical to the cakes in the photos (which btw looked like upper class professional chef style cakes) they were flawless and beautiful. The cake on the inside was moist and taste good. They were a hit of course at our dual bday party and She was reasonably priced! The product was for sure worth the price I'll be going back to her again and again. And I'd recommend her for any occasion her quality was really that good. I would highly suggest her for more formal events such as weddings bc she does beautiful work. ... and she delivers locally she also did our cupcakes (I'll have to post the other cake pic separately I guess) here are some.
