Had a wonderful meal at this very quaint restaurant in small town America. My date and I both had the ham loaf special and it was delicious. You wouldn't expect a place like this in a small Ohio town but I'm glad it's there

I would give more stars if possible! Drinks were strong and the food is extremely good! I feel like they really love what they are doing and you shouldn't be missing out! I would highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing sandwiches. Left feeling full. 1911 Cider was extremely good tap choice. We had the pastrami (can’t remember menu name) and will definitely be back for more. A Gracie was an absolute amazing server.

I'd give The Axe-Handle more than five stars if I could! We hosted a bridal shower here and everything was wonderful!! Quiche, fruit, and salad - all delicious! The ladies all loved the mimosas! Wynn, our server, was so attentive and friendly. Skyler, was a great communicator and put together a wonderful luncheon for us. It was a great celebration!!

We were here one other time but this was not the same place we ate at before. They had only 4 dinner entrees and 2 were out for the night at 630 pm. Out of the other 2 only 1 was left of one. My wife ordered that one and I had a sandwich that said it was the favorite. Very disappointed and we will not be back. Too few options for a Friday night dinner out. No steak, fish or chicken. Really how are you still in business. If I wanted a sandwich I would go to Arby's.
