This was my go-to place for bbq last year in 2021. Ribs, turkey, cornbread and chicken chili was always awesome. This year of 2022...cornbread is now pre-made and stored in a fridge. That basically ruins it. The ribs are now hit-miss. Turkey is the same,hit/miss . Sometimes the turkey was dry and not as much smoke flavor. Chicken chili is always great. I hope whatever changes they made this year gets changed back. It was my favorite place and I drove over 1hr to go there.Update...now the phone is disconnected. I read in the paper that it is permanently closed and they're looking for other uses for it. It is being worked on if you look in the windows.

After kayaking along Conneaut Creek, we decided to grab some lunch at this spot. It happened to be just two days before they closed for the season. I went with the combination of chicken with bone and ribs, and let me tell you, they were absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and excellent. The best part is the location, right on the pier with a view of the marina. Those marina views definitely added to the overall experience.

Excellent first visit! Our waitress let us know that they were just a little understaffed for the night, so the wait time might be a little more than usual. It was not long at all, and the waitress was personable and fun. Food met "competition standard" expectations. Was such a beautiful night to watch the sun set over the water while enjoying great food and service! My only regret was waiting so long into the season to drive out and give it a try!

After having not been here in a few years, went this afternoon and it was just as good as ever. The food was delicious with generous portions for the price and the service was top notch. The patio area offers a beautiful view of the harbor. Will definitely be back much sooner!
