Smoke on the Water BBQ & Seafood

Like fast food, you have to stand in line at a counter to order your food. We went on a beautiful Saturday.. there were mostly empty seats. The food was not good, but with the high prices, you would expect great food and service. All of our meals came out at different times. One of my friends was done eating when mine came out. I notice the locals will show you where the best food is. The Crows Nest, down the road always has a packed parking lot and consistently terrific food & service. Briquettes Smokehouse is a little further away, but their food is fantastic 😋

What a great place. Food is always on point. Our server Jacob was exceptional and personable. Can’t wait to stop in again soon!

Hubby and I could not decide, so we split pulled pork nachos and the Walleye basket - absolutely delicious on both! the baked beans are amazing. Sonnhad 2 orders of the pot stickers- teenager could have eaten 4 orders - he loved them! great beer selection and location.

Another great meal at Smoke on the Water! I love their Mac and Cheese and homemade potato chips. BBQ is always good and the staff goes above and beyond to make your experience the best! Definitely a must visit this Summer!

We ate here last night for the first time this season and it was fantastic. The weather was perfect and so was the view! All the servers were friendly and attentive. I started with a tasty cocktail, the Captain’s Colada. For an appetizer, I had the Hungarian hot peppers in oil with warm naan. I’ll be thinking about that dish until I can return! It was a hit for the entire table. My main course was the smoked turkey with baked beans & slaw. So juicy! I couldn’t finish it because there was so much food. I’m looking forward to eating that for lunch today. My daughter ordered the strawberry shortcake for dessert and it was huge! We also have some of that in the fridge for later 😆. I can’t wait to go back! I know it’s not the same restaurant it used to be, but give the new one a chance. It’s clean, the servers are locals, and the food is GOOD!

Great food, the owner and staff was very friendly and checked back in to ensure if we needed anything… great spot to eat and the view of Lake Erie was an added bonus!

We had smoked brisket. It was the special for the day. Excellent food! Owner also deep fried whole banana peppers and garlic pita bread for us. Outstanding food! Can't wait to go back.

Excellent pork belly sandwich! Fresh ingredients and original recipes. Barbeque sauce was tangy and perfect for pulled pork sandwich. Great place to stop while on the water. Nice job bringing great food to the Ohio coast!

Took a big group here today and the food was bad. Pulled pork was dry, not enough sauce. Mac and cheese tasted worse than boxed. Sweet tea tasted fishy. Bill was high for what I received. Location is great and the servers did amazing accommodating us. But the last place at this location had much better food and prices.

Crab legs were cooked to perfection and didn’t shred apart! Pulled pork was delicious and lean, chicken was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be coming in again, it was well worth the drive from Erie!

Great BBQ, courteous and welcoming staff, located right on the water so atmosphere also added bonus! Will definitely be back when visiting for annual girls weekend.

Superior food and food. Staff extremely friendly and explain in detail to first timers how to order and pay for the food and service. They are now closed for the winter season but will be open again in the spring

Check was to expensive for the amount of food you got a shrimp dinner is considered 8 pieces of shrimp the slaw was absolutely disgusting not worth the money or time
