“I traveled out to the Iron House bar & grill in cortland Ohio the other evening. Upon arrival I did notice all the festive Christmas decorations. Parking wasn’t an issue, nice spacious lot with lots of spots. Once inside it was self seating. My seating options were at the bar, booth or hi-top table. I always go for a table. My server upon seeing me, came right over and asked my drink preference. I asked if they had cherry soda. He informed me they didn’t, but he could make me one. Well done my friend….well done!!! He then returned with one tasty cherry pop and took my dinner order, he was super friendly & accommodating. The menu was a great selection of comfort/bar foods, burgers, wings, entrees & sandwiches. I loved the atmosphere, very chill, a neighborhood bar for sure. It had a proper bar, well stocked with liquor & beers. Every wall had a few TV’s on it, a great place to catch the game & good food. My meal was perfect, the burger tasted wonderful. I really enjoyed my dining experience here. I will definitely return in the future for dinner or to watch the game. I recommend you check this place out.“

“Their liver and onions are amazing me and my boyfriend go there and have liver and onions a few times a month don't get it anywhere else but there the place is nice the people there that the workers are very nice and the cook is excellent couldn't ask for a better place to eat and the prices are “

“Looks like the place hasn't been redecorated since it opened in 09. And it is definitely the original bathroom.Small place. Big parking area. No crowd at lunch. Clean and neat. They had sweet tea without a fruity flavor additive. I ordered B'fast for lunch. Partner ordered a sandwich. Prompt friendly service. Medium portion size. Sausage gravy was more gravy than sausage but taste was good.A pleasant lunch. Nothing "OH my goodness, great". But a good meal at a good price.“

“We visited the National Packard Museum and were looking for local food before heading home - SO HAPPY we found this place! Very welcoming. My husband had the NY Strip Steak with Texas potatoes, and I had a gyro with red skinned mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked to perfection and eveything was so delish. On the suggestion of our waitress and Nick, we also tried the chicken that is their signature dish. Oh My Lord was it good! Wish we lived closer. “This fantastic family owned and run restaurant is often full for good reasons! The food and service is the best you'll get anywhere. Generous servings almost have you taking some home with you! “We have passed this place for years, but its always crowded so we keep on driving. We decided to give it a shot despite the crowded parking and there was plenty of room inside. Great small town family diner with a fun local crowd. Best of all the food and service was great! We enjoyed breakfast and good coffee that never got even half empty...my kind of service! We had late breakfast here, but locals were enjoying some awesome looking sandwiches and the Friday fish special. All looked and smelled amazing. We will be back! UPDATE....we have since been back and once again for breakfast time enjoying their delicious sausage gravy over biscuits. We still haven't made it for lunch or dinner, but we will!“

“Had a wonderful holiday lunch here and absolutely all of our food was delicious. One of the best restaurants I have been to. I ordered the lamb medium rare and it was so juicy and was easily the most flavorful lamb I've ever had. The grilled octopus was delicious and tasted so fresh. The aged Manhattan is one of the best I've ever had. The creme brulee was also quite tasty and they give you quite a large amount of it. Will definitely be going back very soon!“

“We always have a great experience when we go to Bob Evans for breakfast. Due to work schedules, breakfast on the weekend is sometimes all the time we have together. We have went to other restaurants in the area, but their food and service do not compare to Bob Evans. Candy and Angel are both always so wonderful and friendly. They truly keep us coming back.“
