Great food but why does great food have to be so expensive.

I enjoyed the food at five guys at least they put tomatoes and lettuce and onions on the hamburgers and it's very good eating and the fries are good too.

First off, Five Guy's burgers are good as well as their fries, but there's nothing special about it that should possess them to charge such an extremely high price for the cheapest form of beef on the market.

We purchased 2 burger's, 2 small fries, and 2 small beverages and the total charge was $39.12.

We dined in, while acid rock music played, then it turned into rap music.
Not my forté.

If people want to give away their money for a decent yet mediocre sandwich and fries that's their perogative.

We often eat at Texas Roadhouse, and the cost for 2 steaks, two sides, 2 soft drinks & rolls, sends us walking away paying less for steak opposed to hamburger.
Try to figure that out.

I purchase my meats from a local meat market that raises their own cattle, chicken and pork, and hands down Five Guy's burgers have nothing on my burger's.

When craving an excellent burger, there's not many places that serve such a sandwich for a decent price, although when we're out and want a great burger at a reasonable price we go to Vasilio's in Cortland, Oh.
Located at: 500 Trumbull Ave, Cortland, OH 44410.

I'm not here to bash a burger joint, but when the price of a hamburger, fries and soft drink is escalated beyond the price of a steak dinner, it makes me wonder how that business manages to keep their head above water.

My intention wasn't to discredit a franchise, but maybe my review will keep someone from walking in blindly and feel short changed.

Thanks For Reading.

I have been to many 5 Guy restaurants, the good this trip was just not at the normal standards. There was something off on the fries. And the burger was just not as good as normal

I literally wish I was joking, but Im not. They called the cops on me for getting too many refills. I kept walking back for more refills made them feel “ off”. Some people are just not meant to work in this world😂😂😂😂😂

Got a double cheese burger, fries, and chocolate shake. 23 dollars, yes I remember why I don't go there often, hay but they do have free peanuts. 🤪 Burger was pretty good, and there were a ton of fries. The table was dirty and the atmosphere was very equable. But it was still expensive for a burger joint.

Parking: Parking lot is in a small busy plaza.

Celiac/Allergy positive post!
Safety alert -Those with Peanut allergy AVOID THIS! There are in shell peanuts in boxes to snack up on. Many sit at the table snacking while waiting on food and I don't believe the table gets wiped in-between customers.

They take precautions for celiac/gluten free food. You tell them you have wheat allergy (all understand this, some understand celiac or gluten free) and they change gloves and one person usually prepares all, there is a separate counter for assembly and I've never gotten sick. There is nothing in the fryer other than fries so they are safe. Lettuce wrap does not hold bun...just get a bowl! The only downfall is the music is often really loud. * I would not get milkshakes because the metal blender is not changed out between shakes for gluten free people.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free - no buns but safe preparing for your food.
Peanut allergy WARNING - Open containers of in the shell peanuts out for snacking.

Parking: Don't order online. There is no option to type in allergy alert or verification that it was prepared safely.

Kid-friendliness: They do have crayons and coloring pages in one corner of the restaurant.
It's loud so caution to sensory stimulated kiddos or adults.
