Irene's ice cream

Awful place. Way too expensive for the portions you’re given. Also are they ever open? Closed for fair week (dumb business move), The current hours are listed as Thurs-Sun 12-6. The last few weeks I have driven by during those hours and shocker, they’re closed. Do not recommend.

The good: plenty of parking, a place to sit with lots of picnic tables, and prices were reasonable. It's a cute set up.

The bad: I was excited to find they had play dough ice cream because I used to get it at another ice cream location that no longer sells it. My boyfriend got the peanut butter cup. Sadly upon eating it we found the ice cream to be freezer burned. Unsure if it's because business has slowed down and they aren't selling it as fast but it wasn't good. It had zero flavor and mine had 5 pieces of dough in it even with two scoops. Also the port o potties are right next to the seating area so you do get some cross over smells when the wind blows.

Portions are huge, and the cost is spot on! There's a small drive thru and picnic benches. Staff is very friendly 😊

Friendly staff. Everything is made fresh, and the fries were amazing!

The staff was so kind and helpful as we ordered with our kids in tow. My burger was delicious and the ingredients were so fresh.

This place is great! The employees are always doing their best, you can tell they're busy often. Huge fan of their milkshakes!

Tried this place today for the first time. I've read other reviews about small portions, so I'm guessing they've gotten better since those reviews were made. We ordered a brownie delight and a root beer float. Both were very generous sizes and very good ice cream. We tried to go sit at the picnic tables in the shade, but the porta potties are right next to the tables. We couldn't enjoy our ice cream because of the smell. We ended up sitting by the order windows in the middle of everyone trying to order. Maybe the porta potties could be moved to the other side of the building?

I was so excited to see this place open up! Unfortunately, my family and I left disappointed. The blonde women Mariah taking orders was rude and didn't seem to even know their own menu. I was handed a hard burnt hot dog and cold mushy fries. The woman argued with me when I asked for hot fries. My family won't be back.

Did not make the food properly I asked for a meatball sub with no sauce and I asked for tomato and I got a couple little pieces little chunks and the sausage sandwich didn't taste right

No complaints, very good and fast service.
