My Amish Sawmill crew eats at this particular restaurant from time to time. They love their food. I ate there once in a very long time. I used to eat there back in the late 70's when I worked for United Telephone. The food was decent back then. I don't really care for Monty's breakfast at all. They load up your plate with potatoes. I'm good on Monty's

1st visit here. I had fried fish and fries, and hubby had the lemon pepper grilled. They have shoestring fries. You also get cole slaw. I prefer mine a little sweeter.
The prices for their fish dinner are very good.
I have a hard time with steps and there are a few but no ramp

Best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had hands down. The homemade biscuits are amazing. We had quite a large group of people, and everyone agreed that their breakfast was delicious!

Food was overcooked burnt toast dry eggs. But I will say the young lady that waited on me was fantastic. I can only blame the cook.

Cute rustic diner, we had the fried fish and hand cut fries and boy oh boy was it good. We will definitely be back to try breakfast. Our server was very attentive and she had a full house, she did a superb job ??the only thing I didn’t like is the 4% credit card increase on our bill I feel like if a place accepts credit cards they should pay that not us customers.

I never write reviews but I had to share my experience. My family has visited Monty's in the past and my children love the pancakes. This past Saturday, my daughter woke up asking to go to Monty's so we met up with a family member at the restauraunt. As soon as we entered we were not greeted, which was understandable because it was relatively busy, but multiple people walked in after us and were greeted enthusiastically with a "Good morning!" We sat at the table waiting patiently for a server, but eventually I realized the people walking in after us were not only being greeted but also brought menus and the server was taking their orders. We were there for around 25 minutes and we were not even acknowledged. We have never experienced such rude treatment and I had to leave with disappointed children that wanted Monty's pancakes.
