This was my first time visiting Top Notch Diner. I ordered the griddle special and specifically asked for the grilled potatoes with onions. Instead, I was served fried potatoes. I took a couple bites, but they weren’t what I ordered, so I asked for the correct potatoes. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes, and when my food finally came out, they were still fried—and still no onions.
My coffee sat empty for a long time without a refill, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the sausage gravy was good

The special fried chicken was terribly greasy and the coating had a funny taste like the grease hadn't been changed in a long time. The Trump environment is heavy. In fact the fisherman and his wife and mother sitting near us began a loud Trump admiration campaign and just about grossed us out with his missing teeth poor vocabulary and rude treatment of his Mother.

I ordered through DoorDash and the food that they sent out looks like dog food so I called the restaurant the lady gets on the phone she’s rude. She tells me I ate the food. They said missing items or maybe this is somebody else’s order I don’t know they were straight out of route DoorDash told me to get the refund from them. I asked the lady for the owners and everything. She will tell me she packed it herself just tried to argue back-and-forth stereotype me, and everything just straight out route and the food, the present trash, trash garbage

Wanted to eat here until we saw that the owner has some sort of Trump obsession? The diner was like some sort of religious shrine to him. If you are into that sort of thing, I highly recommend checking it out. We decided on a more family friendly option and left.
