Food was pretty good. Seems to be busy most of the time but otherwise fantastic.

We ate lunch after our tour, it wasn't really busy and we could take our time looking at the menu that they had posted in multiple spots. We wanted to order corn dogs, but the cashier said they were "probably" out of them. She didn't give us a ticket number either, so when they called out our number we had no idea it was ours. The table that we sat at was missing a foot, so it was very unstable. It took less than 10 minutes to get 4 people's meals. The fries were good, had the perfect amount of seasoned salt.
Kid-friendliness: They had a good variety of kids meals to choose from, my kids got chicken tenders & fries. They also had hot dogs, corn dogs, and more.

The yurts , zip lining, and secrets of the zoo wild side tour was amazing. My husband and I had a wonderful time . The staff was great and the dinner and breakfast included in our yurt stay was awesome!!!
We really enjoyed our day at The Wilds. Our tour guide was great, very informative. The animals were interesting especially the two day old rhino.
Great variety of different types of tours & things to do. Very family oriented.
We went on the Open Air Tour and the next day we did The Wild Side Tour. They were both excellent. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and fun to be with.
We did the Wildside Tour. It was a Amazing experience, Mathew was very knowledgeable! And a great tour guide. We did the Open-air last month with family and also enjoyed that one. Next time I’m doing the Horseback Safari.
Super fun and relaxing time. Stayed in the Straker Cabins. Beautiful scenery and unbelievably clean. Went horseback riding with Adrianna and Melissa - you were awesome. Went on an Open Air Safari with Paul as our Guide -very knowledgeable and personable. Had lunch on the beautiful Overlook Deck. Even the girls in the gift shop had smiles on their faces. Thank you to everyone. We cannot wait to come back.
We were told on the parking lot shuttle that the cheeseburgers wouldn't disappoint and they were great!! Very well Air conditioned, great drink variety, an amazing view, and great food. The double cheeseburger was so big and even had cheese between the patties!! With a long drive back to our hotel, we were very pleased with lunch. We even forgot to grab the kids meal juice cup, and the server brought out a cup, and offered to go fill it for us!
The Wildside Tour was SO. GOOD. I enjoyed every minute of it! So many close encounters & interactions with the animals!! Our guide, Rachel, was super friendly & informative! All staff were very kind & helpful! Dinner and breakfast were good. Yurts were pretty cool too & clean! WiFi super spotty but overall really enjoyed our stay!!
An amazing adventure at The Wilds! Well organized, safe & clean. Staff is so friendly & knowledgeable. The views of the animals & the landscape were amazing...seeing the on-site accommodations made me longing to lodge there! Love The Wilds commitment to conservation, breeding and caring of their animals! So happy we ventured out to The Wilds today!
Beautiful I had amazing experience tour lady was nice and knowledgeable about many animals , I learned lot of from her . I will come back again
The Yurt was very nice! Heat, A/C and very comfortable king bed. Dinner and breakfast are included in the overnight stay. Dinner was average but breakfast was above average! The safari was enjoyable and also included in the price. We sat around the fire pit in the evening with a glass of wine. Enjoyable visit! One night was enough for us as there was not much else to do in the area.
There’s no more amazing and intimate experience with some of the world’s most endangered and lovely creatures than a Wildside Tour at The Wilds. We are now members and visit several times a year, and every tour something different, unique, and incredible happens. Last fall, we got to scratch Kate the white rhino when she walked right up to our truck to ask for belly rubs, and just this weekend we got to meet her new calf on a winter Barn Tour. Meeting and getting to scratch the three new baby rhinos was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The staff and volunteers are so welcoming and knowledgeable. The tours are all so fun - we’ve done the Fishing tour and the Ziplining Tour, too. All great! We love Nomad Ridge and staying overnight. We’re already planning our next visit!
