Decent food place but know that you are going here for the seafood boils. That's what their menu specializes in. I ordered crab cakes and my daughter ordered a seafood boil with crab legs. The crab cakes were very underwhelming. They were tasty but small. I should've gone with a boil.
I asked the waitress about a salad for a side and she said all they had was lettuce and some tomatoes, and only 2 kinds of dressing, so I passed on the salad.
Expect to pay about $35 - $50 per boil. The crab cakes were much cheaper at only $15, but you do get what you pay for.
I really would've preferred a meal with a lobster tail, or stuffed crab with a salad, and some veggies, but apparently I need a different restaurant for that. In fact, potatoes and corn are the only 2 vegetables I saw offered, mainly because they are part of a seafood boil. Extra potatoes is an extra charge and there were hardly any potatoes in her boil as it was.
Our waitress wasn't very personable and seemed like she could care less. All of the other staff were very friendly though, so I think we just got the one waitress who didn't want to be there. She wasn't rude or anything; just not very attentive ( she didn't check on us after we got our food, until time for the check.)
I wasn't very impressed, personally, but my daughter loved her seafood boil and said she'd love to come back. So, we'll probably be back, but maybe only 1-2 times a year.

Was really pleasantly surprised by A Plus Crab. We had fantastic service and great food! Everyone, especially our server, was really nice and attentive. Food came out quickly, was hot and delicious.

The birthday celebrations with the blaring music was a bit over the top but it seems like folks come there for that (5 bdays in 1 hr with about 35 people in the restaurant) so not a super big deal.

Great service but the last two times I've gone there I've gotten food poisoning including last night. I used to love them when they first opened, the snow crab legs were a lot larger than they are now. I'm really disappointed in the flavor though too. They shake the bag when you get it but the second you open it the seasoning is fully separated from the butter/oil and the seasoning looks and tastes burnt and old. Either they changed cooks or started cutting a lot of costs. Either way I won't be going there again. Also I'm not sure why they still have up last years Christmas decor (or maybe just put up WAY too early) the hanging Christmas lights and the snow flakes hanging from the lights in the center on the room.

The seafood here is really good. But the service is quite slow. Even though the place was nearly empty. Also all of the food did not arrive together which is not great either. Part of the tables entrees was delayed by like 5 to 6 minutes. I will say the seafood boils are really well seasoned and well cooked I did not find the shrimp overcooked or the mussels. The corn was surprisingly well prepared very tender and the Cajun butter on it was great. Potatoes was also cooked through nicely. The fried catfish was crispy a tad underseasoned but it does come with a side of hot sauce and tarter sauce which does help lift it. The mixed drinks here are decent I found the side car to be fairly traditional and didn't have any complaints with that. But service here is slow come with people you plan on talking to for a while we spent about an 1 and half hours dining here. Drink service at our table was really slow getting another round for some people at the table took a while after telling the server. Also for seafood the prices are not bad. I felt for the portions it was very fair. So in my opinion its worth trying for the food just be aware it'll take awhile.

Flavor was good starting off.. I’m just curious how/why I found not one.. but two shrimp tails in my boil that had no seafood. I was told by a friend that I could just get a boil with no seafood because I’m allergic, this made me sick????

The food and staff were A++! I took my son here for his 9th birthday so he could try king crab for the first time. The crab was perfectly cooked and they did an awesome ice cream and sang to him. He was so happy and excited. Thank you for such an awesome first experience!

I was so upset when I got home. Seafood was old ($80.) Crab was hollow, lobster was really tiny no meat barely in it. Got garlic butter and it taste like nothing.

I’m really disappointed. The food was nasty, barely any seafood in the bag, and what was in there tasted old and not even cooked right definitely seems like they just threw the left overs they had from the day in the bag I couldn’t even eat it. I called to let them know one of the worlds wouldn’t even let me fully explain before cutting me off and being rude and the owner was straight up rude and dismissive, even got aggressive with me instead of trying to fix it. I wouldn’t recommend nobody else waste their money either.

We got the dinner for 4 and it was SO good!!! The quality, flavor, and seasoning were excellent, everything was fresh and there was so much food this could realistically feed about 6-8 people. We got this to-go and they included plenty of gloves, bibs, and napkins. The price is great too considering you get all pictured plus appetizers and beignets (which were so good we were fighting over lol).
